I am getting the impression that this telemarketing group is a political party with an underlying message  "citizens for a cleaner america" and they aren't talking energy.... and I am wondering others who are receiving these identical calls ( even made appt and they didn't show)  are Independent voters like myself.

Silent than disconnect.  Different area code 480 numbers each week with no mail box for leaving messages requesting they quick calling.

Citizens for a Cleaner America, or Citizens for a Clean America is actually a political non-profit organization that conducts 'fake' surveys (pretending to be doing studies on energy savings) in order to get statistical information of local residents for political campaign purposes.

Its a promoted by the Energy Companies such as Exxon Mobil, etc.

They call everyday and even though you can press 5 to be taken off the list, they never take you off the list

I have been getting several calls EVERY day for past 2 months. I have tried the "Push 5 to be removed from their list".  It doesn't help.!  They still call.!!  I am on the Do Not Call List.... Doesn't seem to help at all.  How do you get rid of these Idiot people ?????  BTW... they use to call EVERY  day at about 3pm.  Now they have just started calling at around 6:30 to 7pm.!!  This is absolutely Maddening !!!

I get repeated calls after pressing 5 to opt out.  I also attempted to speak to a human, pressing 1, and told them NOT TO CALL.  they hung up on me and continue to call.  I receive as many as 4 calls a night, usually right after hanging up on the initial call.

STOP THIS!!!  Our home number is on the national no call list - WHY DOES IT NOT WORK????

These people keep calling me...I have pressed 5 to be deleted from the calling list to no avail. Pressed 1 to talk to a real person, no help..just want them to stop

Thanks for the info.  Will give it a try.  I've tried hitting "5" to be taken off the caller list (haha) and I've tried hitting 1 to speak to a real person.  When I finally got a real person, they hung up on me!

I got this call today for the umpteenth time. I pushed 1 after the introduction of this call and was very nice to them. I found out that they are called the CENTER FOR ENERGY CONSERVATION. This is what the man told me twice. I thought it might be helpful to have a business name to attach to your FCC complaint. It is NOT Home Tec International as some posters might have you believe. I have e-mailed them and they are working to figure out who this is as well.

What can be done about these unspeakable jerks?  I've been getting multiple calls each day for months and of course "pressing 5" does nothing.

Nevada green energy group robo calls recd daily! Having to screen calls is a pain and doesn't help; they just keep calling and calling and calling. Having my number on the do not call list means nothing.

I have been getting calls 3 to 4 times a day from this group....I call that harassment

They have hung up on me twice.  They call about five times in two hours at night.  Twice in half hour today.  Even if I was looking for that kind of company they would not be the one I would look at after this.

They have been calling for months and no matter what I do they keep calling.  Opting out doesn't work.  Talking to a live person that hangs up when you ask them to remove the number.  Finally I forwarded their calls to their own number.  Wish there was a person on their end so they had to answer their own calls but at least I don't have to listen to them anymore.

The caller company is relentless; continues to call and will not stop!

if I had a valid phone number I would incessantly have a massive return call program and inundate their phone lines!

Exactly!  I too receive these phone calls, sometimes two times a day, certainly 4-5 times a week.  I tried listening to the whole message and it says 5 to be removed from receiving the call but it didn't work because I now have received the message today and pushed 1 and told the person I wanted to know how to get off this calling list and got hung up on.  This has been going on for many weeks and it is tiresome.  What to do? except scream a lot.

Every day we get a call from this number and it says "Attention Power Company Customers"...  This caller has dialed me at least 50 times! (no exagerating) I've pushed 5- to be removed- Pushed 1 to talk to someone and they hang up! If anyone can figure out to get rid of them...please let us know! Thanks.

Since August 1st I have gotten 18 calls. Each time I wait through and press 5 and yet...more calls and more calls.

We were getting one call per day from this auto-caller, now we're getting two per day. Don't they know that the more they call the less likely that we will be interested in their pitch or product? It's sad. However, if they're making money just by making auto-calls, and they don't even get a direct dime off a customer, then they've sure figured out some easy money! Still, it's sad, because it should be considered harassment not professional business.
