I signed up for an internet phone service today.  Shortly after my transaction was completed, I received a call from this number on my cell phone.  I missed the call or they hung up as soon as I answered.  No message.  I did not call back as I did not recognize the number.  Did quick interet research and found these posts.

Called, I picked up, no response. Waste of minutes!

Received a call on my cell phone today, 9/23/09, at 9:52AM from this number. I do not answer phone numbers I don't know. They did not leave a message, of course.

It's probably a company that Obramah uses to give people something to do (employment)at taxpayers expense, just like ACORN. There are many of these organizations springing up.

The scammer is still at it. Called 10:16 am on 09/24/09 with no ID and no message on my cell phone--did not call back. Thanks all, Texas.

Just like many of you, it rang less than the normal number on my cell phone, then stopped ringing.  I was not able to answer it within the rings.  Since I also have a landline, my cell phone is on the FCC do not call list - has been for years.  Your notes gave me the info I needed to file a complaint with the FCC.  Maybe the Feds will do something.  I did not see that you folks filed a complaint w/the FCC under the do not call violation.

This is not good. As soon as I updated my resume online (name brand sites)I started receiving calls with no messages.  Most are like this number, they call you (maybe to confirm the # rings/is valid and then hang up.  

Not wasting my mobile minutes to ring back.

Called me today too. So glad I found this info online, before I called the number back. GEEZ I hate scammers
