Same like everyone else. I received a call on my cell Tuedsay around 10am. It rang once and hung up. No voice message. The call is originating from Bethlehem, PA.

This number dialed my cell once and I didn't answer, due to missed call, no message was left. How did they get my cell number when no one knows my cell number?

didn't even ring, just had a missed call and no voicemail. Called back and it was a recording that said "welcome cosmo people"

Got call. One ring and they hung up so received a missed call msg.  I called back and got the social networking HeyCosmo.  Will check with my cell servicer to be sure there are no charges on my phone for having called...other than the one minute usage.
This is annoying.

Called but left no name or number. Didn't try to call back because I didn't recognize the number.

Received a call from (484) 892-6078 on 08/16/09.  Rang twice, hung up, no message.

I read this thread and went to the HeyCosmo site to use their "remove me" feature.  They ask for your phone number then claim they will call you right then.  You are supposed to answer the phone and be walked through some steps to block your number.

Their site claimed to call me then claimed the call was "disconnected".  My phone never rang.

Just filed an FCC complaint after returning the call and being forced to sit through ads for ringtones and a game called "Predicto" before being allowed to remove my number form their service.

Found the company e-mail address.
I sent the following to comment@heycosmos.com:

I have filed a report with FCC against your illegal, unsolicited call to my cell phone. You called me at 7:12 pm 8/16/09 PDT

Immediately remove my number: xxx-xxx-xxxx. (wireless)

Otherwise, here are my terms of service:

You agree to not call my number listed above.
You agree to pay me $100 for each and every call you make to my above listed number as my fee for processing your unsolicited call. As part of processing each call, you will be reported to the FCC for illegally calling my wireless number listed above.

You also agree to pay any damages and cost of collection of the above fees including attorney fees.

If you call the above listed number, you will confirm your consent of this agreement and your agreement to pay the per call processing fee to me.

Called my cell. Hung up after two rings.  I wouldn't have answered anyway since I don't know anyone in southeast Pennsylvania.

I just got a call from 484-892-6078.
My cell didn't ring, it went right to "missed call".  No message.

rang twice, then caller hung up. weird.

I just registered my phone number with Yahoo??  Hmmm

One ring no message

They left me a voice mail saying to press 1 to hear a boost mobil message someone had left me and then said there was an error and to go to the heycosmo.com  site and log on to facebook to retrieve my message, this is just a password/profile stealing site people, be careful.

no idea but it came on the screen with the missed call tag

rang once - I answered it and they hung up.  I hope I don't get charged for this!!!!  It is probably a scam!!!
