This number called my phone twice yesterday and spoke Spanish. The first time they asked if I spoke Spanish, The second time nothing. after I asked who was calling.

I get 1 or 2 of these a day, I can understand some Spanish, and speak almost none, but the caller speaks way too fast for me to understand. Today I told them that I didn't speak spanish well, and asked if the lady spoke english, and do said no and hung up on me. Very friendly. Next time, I will answer with "Tome este número de su lista, no llame otra vez." It means "Take this number off your list, do not call here again." Who knows, maybe it'll work.

Keep in mind I have been on the Do Not Call List for 5 years, since they started, and I am still being called by, Spanish only, telemarketers from Dish network and now these guys.

I got a call from 500-500-5000 today and I speak fluent English and Spanish. Jose, he said his name was, said he was calling from the "telephone company" and wanted to thank me for being a good customer and making payments on time, by giving me a free 500 minute calling card. Oddly enough I never use calling cards or make any long distance calls since all my family members live locally (lucky me?) in Miami FL.

I said, OK send me the free card, but they did not know my first name, just my last name, Aguilera, yes like Christina, but they did know my complete address. Jose transfered me to Pilar, who would confirm my order so "there would be no problems." Pilar confirmed my address and asked my permission to send the card.

"How much does it cost?" She reaffirmed the card is free, she confirmed my address too and finally said something very fast about a charge to activate the card and when I asked her to clarify - the line was already hung up.

I wonder if they will send the card and charge it to my Bellsouth account? We shall see.

Received a 500-500-5000 tonight; picked up the phone without looking at the caller ID box; they spoke a foreign language. Got one several weeks ago while we weren't home; they didn't leave a message. Can someone tell us what's going on?

Keep Getting phone calls from this number also.  I dont answer the calls nor do they leave a message.

Received numerous calls from this number also, not sure if this was a scam.  When I answered person spoke in Spanish, but only answered once. Would like to verify that by answering did not endanger myself. Will continue to not answer. LaCenter, Wa.

I received numerous calls from this number...when I answered I could hear some background noice and then they hung up.  I filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.  I guess I will see if that helps...maybe more people need to do that.  Also, caller ID always says "personal call".

Like the rest of you I am getting these calls.  They hang up as soon as I answer.  It's irritating.

I have started getting these same calls. Just within the last 4 or 5 days I have received several. However, they don't say anything when I answer.

I was just called by this number. All I got was static, then a hangup.

If you have Teleblend or SunRocket, do what I did - block this number and you will never be bothered again.

I've been receiving these calls for months, off an on. Usually, they say something in Spanish or nothing at all. Today I have received 4 from them while I was at home from morning until night. I'm really sick of it. Today a   woman actually spoke saying something in Spanish, I said Yes, then she said something else in Spanish,I said I don't speak Spanish, she says in English sorry I have the wrong number. This was early in the morning. After that I received 3 more thur out the day but nothing was said by anyone on the other end, no matter how loud you say Hello. Whoever it is needs to get a life!!!

I've gotten a few of the 500-500-5000 calls, where they say "Bueno" or something to that effect.  I figured it's because I have a Hispanic last name, even tho it's just my married name and I don't really speak much Spanish.  If I don't pick up, they never leave a message, and you can't call them back thru *69 either.

Caller calls multiple times during day I've had to turn my ringer off making my phone useless. Please help this stop this insanity. Its a spanish speaking company and they should know by now I DON'T SPEAK SPANISH. The call all the time at all hours

Got a call from the 500-500-5000 number today! Someone speaking garbed "Spanish" couldn't understand the words.  They hung up after not understanding what they said.

Looks like a problem which is festering...this will be reported to Local phone service in the morning!
