Just got a call from these people. Since caller ID showed Humana, Inc, I thought they were legitimate. When I answered, they asked for me by first and last name. Wish I knew how they got my info. Their "pitch" seemed fishy so my wife and I killed the call. They will be reported.

The Do Not Call List is just more wasted taxpayer money going into someone's pocket.

How to stop these calls...

If you do not recognize the number DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!. Let the call go to voice mail. If it is important they will  leave a message.

If you answer these calls here is what usually happens:
The date is recorded in a database.
The time of day is recorded in a database.
Sometimes your gender is recorded in a database.

Now they need to know other times of the day you will answer so they keep calling back.

So now these scammers know what time during the day someone answers calls at your number and the gender of the caller!

Be prepared to have your number added to a list of active numbers and sold to scammers. You can count on more of these calls in the near future.

It is so easy to stop this. DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE IF YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER.
If you do not answer these calls eventually they stop calling.
Answer just one of these and the cycle starts all over.

this number called, I answered cause caller ID showed Humana, some guy by the name Hussein was trying to sell Humana Health insurance. I told them I going to be late for my meeting, send me info. Then I got this number on caller Id Not Available 12-509-2015. Seems fishy to me!

Calling at 6:35pm, if this is Humana they need to tell their workers to stop calling people's houses after 4pm. This has to be a scam. We need to petition our Government to have these callers leave a voice message as to who they are or have that number out of service after 100 complaints. We should be allowed a way to opt out of these calls easier than getting all these annoying calls and scams.

My husband has Humana for his prescription coverage so I answered the phone and the line was "dead" I said hello several times and no one was there, this has happened several times. I tried calling the number back but it says the voicemail is full, smh. I'm going to block the number

10/27/15 - It's not  HUMANA. The caller ID is being heavily now spoofed to suck in people during the "Medicare Supplemental Open Enrollment" period. October 15–December 7. Don't really know if it's a complete scam or someone is is getting paid by Humana on the back end.

I have Humana for my medicare part D. They left a voicemail one time asking for me by name. But they have called repeatedly and never leave a voice message. I do not answer these calls, as if it is important, they will mail me out the information. I never give out any personal info over the phone.

All these scammer they in business cause idiots send them money. When the stupid idiot Americans stop sending them money or given them there info so they can get ripped off the calls will stop

Received a call from 502-301-1989.  Caller ID showed Humana.  Lady on other end of call insisted that I tell her if I had Humana Insurance.  I told her if she was calling from Humana that she should know this info.  I told her I have no idea who she was or what kind of scam she was playing.  She repeated her name to me and I told her I was  Robert Redford.    She said she could not continue the call or tell me the reason for it unless I informed her if I had Humana Insurance or not.   Sorry Charlie...Call Ended.      I like to ask what country they are from, usually if they are from outside of the US they hang up immediately.

The caller i.d. may say Humana. They do not call. All correspondence mailed unless an individual personally called an 800 number. Lots of nuts out there trying to get personal info. One call on my phone i.d. had MY OWN name and phone number....slick to have me "call myself"....SCAMMERS!

We are a dental office so when the caller ID said "Humana," I assumed they wanted to talk about a claim or benefits for our patients. They said they were from Humana Health Care when I answered and then asked for a person who I've never heard of before. They asked if this was a residence or a business, I told her business and then she apologized and said goodbye.

To be a dumb idiot is redundant and these callers are too stupid to understand the humor in being a double [***]. They are probably members of the Dalits or 'untouchables' caste. I get plenty of scam calls and blocked everyone the first time; I never hear the ring anytime after that. I only they called on my phone's screen later the next day. Get yourself a Panasonic phone system that blocks 250 numbers. A system with 3 handsets is about $100. Check Amazon.com for one. A nice feature is when the fûçk heads call back, there is no ring to irritate you. We are a sick society if we keep on accepting these insulting calls.
