We recieve calls from this number a minimum of ten times per day.  It is beyond aggrovating as the phone rings until you answer, then its silence and a second later, dial tone.

I have filed complaints through the FCC so far, but who knows how long this will persist for.

I have recieved this number and several others that will call 3-5 times a day and at least that many times a week. The thing is they don't use the same number each call. I have a small list of the numbers I was able to catch (like many I won't answer a call I do not know especially when its on my cell phone). 502-894-0098,  866-823-1670,  800-111-1670,  240-210-7101 I had a bigger list written down, but can't find it at the moment. These numbers may not be from the same people, but its still a problem when you get this many unknown numbers.

Recieved a call from these people at work!  The only people who have my work number are my creditors so someone's out there selling info.

I hit the 1 option to get an operator and asked her how she got my number, she replied and I quote, "What's the difference how we got your number"...and then hung up.

The next time they call, and I'm guessing they will, I'll play their game to the point of giving them fake info to get their company name and then I'll post it here.

Annoying

Got a call today at 2:08pm (CT) on my cell phone. Very few companies have this number, because I rarely give it out. Travelocity or Ticketmaster are the main culprits, but it's difficult to know because many people use them. Either way, someone ought to figure out how this information was shared and which company should be boycotted. We should most certainly organize a boycott over this. It's a very small incursion, but sure to send a message about the public acceptance of this kind of [***].

P.S. I meant to write "suspects" or "likely culprits" above.

I got a call from 502-894-0098 today as well. no message left. Thanks for everyone else's comments. They helped a lot

annoying repeated calls about a vehicle warranty expiring. several numbers doing the same thing - this must be the scam du jour. i say we get a posse together and go vigilante.

Got a call with the automated message. I pressed 1 to speak with someone and asked where they got my number. The asked me if I was Mrs. Foreman (Foreman is my company name). I told them that this was my work number and they hung up on me. Just got the same call today on my cell phone. I spoke with a woman and asked her where they got my #, they said from the call list. When I asked about where they got the call list they gave me the runaround and when I finally asked what their company name was, they hung up on me. Oh- I also asked what sort of scam they were running..."No scam! No scam at all! Would you like to purchase the package?" What is this BS?

I haven't pressed 1 as they said I could, but I keep getting this automated message on my cell phone. Something about a warrenty on my car. It's been going on for about 2 months now. VERY annoying! I usually get the call at exactly 1:00PM EST.

i just got the same callon my cell phone but no msg. i called the number only to get the recording saying "this number has been disconnected"
After reading the other comments it appears this deals with a false report that the warranty on my automobile will be terminated. Not likely. I don't Drive and have not had a car for 13 years.

Got the same thing about 25min ago, seeing all these comments and no one being able to take action against this has me pretty peeved. If anyone has any actionable suggestions I'll be checking back here from now on any time I get a call from this number.

Something rather interesting... this number is listed at a weight loss center:

I just received a call from this number today on my cell.  This is the 8th time in two months.

Started getting calls from this number after getting numerous calls from 213-363-5185.

how are they able to get cell phone numbers?
