So they called me again (this would be twice in the same day) tonight. I chose to talk to the rep this time. When she asked me the model and year of my car I told her it was a 1922 Ford Model-T.  "What year?" she asked.  "1922".  There was a pause on the other end and then she told me, "I'm sorry, we don't offer anything for vehicles that old.  I'll have you removed from the list."  I'll just have to wait and see if it worked or not.

I received another call from 502-894-0098 again at 8:40PM "reminding me about my warranty on my car" ... I did not answer the call, however, when I dialed it back from my cell phone I received "this number is no longer in service."  What is up with this crank calls!  Can't someone STOP them from annoying me?

Same as many postings on 800notes.com, multiple calls on several family member cell phones re: courtesy call that your auto warrantee is about to expire."  We have no vehicles undr warrantee, not even close!  Obviously they are calling many people with this.  What is going on here and how can we get it to stop?

Since there's no way to block this call on the cell, I saved the number in my contact list as "Spam Call", and set the ringtone as "Silent". So If this person ever calls back again, my phone won't ring, and when I check my missed calls, it'll show "Spam Call", so I don't need to pay attention to it.

I also got calls from 408-587-2133. So again I set the number in my contact list as "Spam Call2". So if you happen to have more spam numbers, set up as "Spam Call3,4,5...."

Unless someone has a better idea? Please post. Thanks!

This one is scary because not only did it come through on a private number that I have given almost nobody, but the last time it rang through I had blocked the number and it somehow got through anyway.  I tried to block it again and my phone system said it was already blocked.   3rd time.

    i can't believe this
this is rediculous. first off this website is probably keeping statistics of all the people that got phone calls from all these crazy numbers. just to see if their product is working. [***] lame ass's! why don't you put your little prank phone call stuff on an actual cell phone. then we wouldn't have to waste our money on getting a different number we could just set our phone to private. i wouldn't buy the product you are selling because you obviously are annoying the [***] out of a lot of people (including me.) just to get your name and product out there. sounds fun but uh...go solicitate at someones doorstep [***].

Got the call again last night about 7:30 on my cell. I opted to "talk with a warranty specialist" I asked for his name and he told me Brady. I then asked for his company name and he told me Great Atlantic Warranty. http://www.gawarranty.com/. I asked him to remove me from their list. He was pleasant and said he would. We'll see.

Also associated with 801 281-4985, I got the hang up from 502... then the warranty call the next day from the 801 #. they have a auto-dialer check for valid numbers then send the warrenty call.

I am a college student, and thus have no car. I received a phone call from this number both Tuesday and Wednesday. I was trying to find out who I'd given my cell number to with a 502 area code. I didn't answer because I wasn't sure who was calling. I also received a call from 302-384-0103 that I answered..and it was an automated message saying that my auto insurance had expired. I am being very cautious about what calls I answer from here on out.

I've been getting computer generated calls at home, several a week for the last 6 weeks, for a auto warranty plan.

Now my cell number has gotten several calls (in the last two days) from this number which I'm not answering. Today has another number calling, 801-281-4985, which is reported on this site as the same auto warranty scam.

I hope this isn't the next big marketing method!
