Got a call from this number on my cell phone at 10:46 AM (Eastern Time Zone) this morning (March 22, 2012).  I hit the "reject call" button on my phone.  They left no message and I don't know anyone in that area code.  These numbers could be spoofed by the caller so who knows where it really originates!  Could be India or China for all I know.

I got a call at home last night on the land line from "Pacific Tel".  Pacific Telephone doesn't exist anymore as a Baby Bell (at least I don't think so) so they are faking the caller ID.

Just answered this call and the person on the other end did not say anything

Companies that use random number generators are  of abject to the no call list laws. I unfortunately worked for one of these companies for about a week in college. IT SUCKS!!! I just got the same call BTW.

Just got a call.  I am in the EST.  Did not answer.  Block the call for in the future to sent straight to voice mail.  Left no message.

I called the number back, recording says it is a survey company, static prevented me from catching the name, option press one to have you number removed from there list.  Worth a try.

Same here. Says Pactel as caller.  No one answers and no message left.  We have blocked their number on our phone.  No call list indeed!!  These jerks have a way of getting around the law.  When we have filed complaints on the no call website, nothing ever happens.  What a joke this law has turned out to be.  I suppose it must work on some level or we would be drowned in calls all the time!

Pressing 1, or 3 to discontinue these calls (depending on the caller's recording)?  What a laugh!  They keep calling regardless.  The worst is a credit card debt reduction outfit offering to lower your payments.  Pressing 3 to discontinue calls is a farce.  These calls usually end in -9999 and mostly originate in Florida.  No call list?  Hah!!!

What good is it if you are on the DO NOT CALL LIST?? I am so tired of getting these ROBO calls. What can we do?

Got a call from this number but did not answer. I live in Northern Virginia.

Apparently, whoever is making these calls is hitting up the entire country.

10:16 a.m. cst received call. I let it ring through; I had worked late and was sleeping. No voicemail left.

Keep receiving calls from that number on my cell.......Someone calls and then hangs up..

Just got the same call.  No message.  I'm in OK.

got a call missed it, called it back it was from a political survey, call it back you can remove it from their list by pressing 1 when asked to do so

Just received 2 calls within 1 minute from this number . . . did not answer because I think I've received calls from Astoria, Oregon, in the past and don't know a soul there. What a pest!

Got this call. Tired of spam phone calls.  Instead of blocking each one one-by-one I've downloaded an app to block entire area codes.  I don't know anyone or have any family in Oregon.  If they have my number without my knowledge, I don't wanna talk to them anyway.
I'll still receive spam from my city, and the places where my contacts, friends and family are, but it should cut down on junk calls from freakin Oregon!

I wonder if the cell phone companies are generating these calls to burn our minutes...just a thought

they want feedback of some sort as to the candidates running for office.
