Got a call from this # also...505-247-1942...I have a friend in New Mexico so I answered thinking it was her. There was nobody there though! So I googled the #. I'm glad I did....

Yeah, I got that call too but I didn't know the number and was talking to someone at the time so just hung up and then i got another private call an hour or so later so I'm assuming it was him. I live in Nebraska.

I missed this call on my cell today. I live in western South Dakota and I also use alltel.

i got this number that called my phone at 8 pm ct and i called back and it was busy i called back and they told me that they would like to send me 2 FREE DVDS and they would pay for my time and i told them that i was looking on the internet and i seen that it said it was a scam and i had to be transfrerd to 4 diffrent supervisors so i hung up and i live in NE with a 308 area code

Got a call about a week ago from Kids 1st and loved the films they sent. How is anyone saying this is a scam when several people on this blog have said they got films without issue? Most everyone else here didn't even pick up. I just don't get how paranoid people are sometimes. Kinda funny, kinda sad.

Seen in others comments in NEBR in 308 area code on cell phones...Alltel carrier...we are getting the calls too!  This scam crap is such a mess.

i got the call 9:36 in IN on my cellie...its creepy i dint answer reading all these looks like im lucky...

I received this call on July 7, 2008. I didn't pick up either, but a New Mexico number...glad I googled the area code and found this. My service is Alltel

got the call today on my home phone. Called the number on my cell and got a busy signal. I called as we have a cousin with the 505 code. That area code is from NM

My husband got a call from the same number yesterday, said that he had won two free cd's. I got the call today, did not answer. It is originating from New Mexico and is a scam of some sort. Our phone service is Alltel.

I got a call on my alltel cell phone today from this number. Did not answer it.  Figured with that area code it was probably an unwanted call.

I live in MI and have a northern IN area code.  They called me at 12:30 pm and when I tried to call it back, it was busy.  I looked it up on Google and this came up.

got a call from 502-247-1942 -- Kid First -- don't know how he got my cell number, when i said i wasn't interested, before i could ask, he hung up.

Called my cell, didn't recognize number so I didn't answer. They left no message, and was busy when I called back after I looked up the number here. [***].

I totally got that call.... its a recorded voice... and they have to be using some sort of a random dialer cause everyone with the same area code gets the call around the same time... kinda suspicioius to me. but yea I let them send me the videos... I will see what happens and post back

i answered the phone and they said that they were from kids first. what it that. and what is the scam.
