Live in Ohio, received a call from this number on my cell phone before dawn the first time.  Glad I found out it's a scam and have since avoided the calls.

I have alltel too and wondered the same thing!  Seems to be a similarity among the complaints...

Just got this same phone call, but didn't answer, I'm so glad I didn't after reading this stuff.

What's this world coming to??

Called cell phone and asked for 60 seconds. Pushing "kid friendly" movies trying to change rating system. Very arrogant. Actually started an agrument with me then hung up. Google produced this:

I just reeceived a call from this number.  Didn't answer it because we didn't recognize the number.  Did a search and found these messages.

I also received a call from this number after 9 PM.  I also use Alltel.  I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.  After reading these posts, I'm glad just let it ring.

I just filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.  https://www.donotcall.gov/    I am tired of getting these bogus phone calls on my cell phone!!  My number is unlisted and on the do not call registry.

i just got that call not even 10 minutes ago i have alltel  so i called it back and i got a busy signal??

Called my Alltel cell phone at lunch.... glad I missed it.

called my 308 alltel phone and asked if i would reveiw dvd's told him my wife would have to handle it he hung up.

received a call today and 2 days ago. I have 2 separate lines. I'm in CA. Glad I didn't answer. Hate this stuff. I almost answered, have relatives in NM, but didn't recognize Ph #. Glad I found this site.

Called me this morning @ 8:00 sharp.  Didn't answer; ignored it.  Service is Alltel.

received a missed call from this number @ 10:20am, i live in ohio and use AT&T. Googled the # and brought me to you lovely ppl... damn [***]...

Got a call from this number & didn't recognize it.  I didn't answer the call and checked the internet to see what it was.  I'm on the "Do Not Call" list & my cell phone isn't listed anywhere I know of, so I don't know how they got it.  I e-mailed a buddy & he said he already got a call from them too.

Got the call from 505-247-1942 on my Cleveland (440) Alltel phone - I managed to miss the call on 8:37pm on 7/2/2008.

This is a private number - I've had a telemarketer on my cell phone before, ever.

missed call on my cell phone at 9pm CT did not leave message or anything. I know the area code so i googled to see if it was someone i knew. That is when i found this and all of these post. Good thing to know that i didn't call it back. I live in nebraska, but have alltel

I rec'd a call from this number and I asked how they got my cell number.  The guy insisted that I give him 60 seconds and I would receive a free DVD but as soon as I asked how the [***] he got my cell as I interrupted him within the first five seconds, the guy hung up.

Missed a call from the above number this morning.  Did not recognize so I googled.  My provider is Alltel and I am in western SD.  I am on the do not call lists.  I told my kids not to pick up calls from this number.
