To Marcus Tower, regarding his post in August, 2010 regarding Paul Iwankoski and Carlos Hernandez and Wellington Asset Management.  I have just returned from Costa Rica this weekend (Oct. 2, 2010) investigating these entities for fraud.  My associates have much historical information on them and Wellington in regard to their continuing land development frauds, especially in Columbus Heights, near Jaco.  I would request that you email me at jconway9@aol.com to establish contact and share information.  We have legal representation in San Jose and plan to pursue these charges vigorously both in the CR and in the US.  They will be stopped and taken down!

Buttonwood LLC is a scam.  He is linked to a guy doing a long stint in a Federal Pen for securities fraud. Paul Iwankowski is the owner and has been running these scams from Costa Rica (and now panama) for years.  His cohort Michael Stark is another felon who preys on unsophisticated investors outside of the US (where they fear to operate).  they will "sell" you any commodity or currency although the trade is never actually placed.  Usually the "option"  is so far out of the money and so close to expiration that it becomes almost imposible for the option to gain in value.  they are unregulated, unlisenced, and they will most definitely steal as much of your money as they can.  When you lose, they will ask you to increase your bet to make money back....it always ends the same.  If you really want to venture into the futures market, learn something at futuresource.com first and then use a regulated broker.

I believe this Mike Stark used to work for a currency exchange house in British Columbia in Canada.  He then headed up a venture called torofx in Toronto which changed hands and is now grey horse.  If you want to track him down I would start there.  I've heard lots of stories about these two.. save your money and call the BBB, as well as Canadian authorities.. although the police north of our borders is not too interested in getting off their butts.

Yeah, I have been trying for two weeks to get in touch with them but guess what! no such luck, so obvioisly a scam
