Calls all the time; leaves no message. I despise these people. Is there a way to break their machine ~ a shrill whistle tone or something ~ ?

This is an obnoxious company that is so proud of the fact that under a technicality, they are exempt from the Do Not Call List.  Just the fact that they have that on their recording shows that they realize that they are just like a telephone solicitor.  Anyway, they so "kindly" offer an option to key in your phone number to have it removed from their list.  Hopefully it works, but I am not holding my breath...

Have received calls from this number-never answer them

I have been getting calls for months now.I just googled the number and found this listing.I dialed the number and removed my phone number from there list.I hope they stop calling.

called..asked for my name, and when i said that this was her, they said thank you and hung up. Kinda freaked me out that they called me and did that.

I got a call from this number last night and I was away from my phone. I don't like to call back numbers I don't recognize so I looked it up on google and I cam across all these websites who have been harrassed by this number. I hope I'm lucky and they don't call me anymore.

I did just as instructed, called and left my number to remove.  I hope this works.

I also get daily calls from this number, usually late at night when I'm sleeping.  I've asked them several times to put me on their do not call list, yet they keep calling.  I would love it if my phone company offered some service where I could block specific numbers from calling.

they've called twice on a sunday. i called back and it was the radio survey like everyone else on here said. i hung up, for some reason i don't trust stuff like this. i'll have them blocked if it continues.

the government really should do something about these kind of companies.

Screw these people! i'm gonna prank call the hell outta these people and have my friends do it too. these companies have phone bills like everyone else. if the public floods thier phone lines it's gotta give them problems. i suggest we all do this.

They called today but I was at work and did not answer. They called a few months ago too, but I don't answer when I don't recognize the area code. If it happens again I guess I'll call them back and ask them to remove my number...

Eventhough I am registered at  " do not call" list, I still receive calls from different companies.

No answer, when I picked up they hung up!

I received ANOTHER call from this company today and did as another posted advised - I filed a complaint with the FCC.

Update!  I also sent an email to questions@arbitron.com and again asked to be removed.  They responded very quickly and stated that they would do so.  THANK GOODNESS!

Phone calle at 8:45 pm Sunday evening 8/13/07

answered and noone was there, call was immediately cut off.

phone call came out of nowhere. claiming I was surveyed before.. after answering like two questions they said i didnt qualify. They have been calling me every week ever since.. today they called me three times..

I got this call a few times. I don't mind doing the surveys when I have the time, but if they are for real shouldnt they have the option of you calling them back to do the survey? I just didnt like the fact that the recorded message does not give any other options than to remove number from the list. I dialed 0 and * and it said your number has been recorded and hung up...i swear that these people are [***]

They called on 07/23/07 at 4:32 pm.  I did not answer the phone.
