Received a call after 8 PM.  Caller ID shows "Cincinnati OH".  No message left.

UGH..they just called me today...on a Sunday...didn't recognize number, didn't answer, no message left.  I'd consider them disreputable for repeatedly calling after being asked to stop.  Since they only do "surveys" they are not bound by DNC, but they use "survey" to get you online then manage to slip it into telemarketing.

Suggest you contact your phone provider, who will in turn trace the call and you need to then contact your local law enforcement.  They will issue a subpoena to MRSI.  I called MRSI National Telephone Marketing Center and informed Tiffany of this issue.  She assured me we would be removed from the list.  Their direct number is 513-772-7580.

Remember to monitor your credit reports. I made a 20 min call and had a bogus derogatory mark removed from my credit report. They feed everywhere and on anything. This had nothing to do with these scamers just saying you need to cover all the basis since the government put all our info out there.

You call and don't leave a message. Why are you calling? When you call and don't leave a message you are upsetting some people.

I get 2 and 3 calls a day from these people.  We are on the no call list.

SOB's keep calling every night. I  am on the Do Not Call Registry.and have filed a complaint. Next step is to get a loud whistle, pick up the phone and blow like Hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are a member of the Cincinnati Better Business Bureau, and your best bet to stop these calls is to call the Bureau's Complaints Office at (513) 421-3015  and also email their Complaints Office at:-
 info@cinbbb.org.   The Bureau will not readily address your complaint because MRSI pays for membership in the Bureau, but be very persistent and keep calling the number given above and keep emailing the Bureau until you receive an apology from MRSI for disturbing the peace of your home with their unsolicited calls.

MRSI - Marketing Research Services Inc. Both my Hubby and I are signed up to receive invitations to participate in a Smoker's Panel here in Chicago. We get $25 cash and 8 plain white packs of no named cigarettes with numbers on them like "E5" and a colored dot sticker on the bottom (2 packs per color). We are given 4 sheets of questionnaires that we have to fill out after smoking enough of the cigarettes to answer a comparison likeness grading scale of 1-5, 1 being nothing like your regular brand and 5 being same as your regular brand. You have to grade compared to your brand you smoke such as: harshness, aftertaste, burn rate, if they went out the same or more or less than your regular brand, etc. After filling out the survey paper on one color, you call their toll free number and answer the questions by pushing the numbers that you wrote on the colored paper. After that call you will be instructed to "begin smoking the next pack".

This probably sounds really confusing to people who don't participate in focus groups like we do all of the time. Hey...it's what we call "Beer Money" AND they give you 8 packs o cigs for free!  Hope this helps all concerned. Cheers!

Wow - does this firm do studies where diabetics get paid to eat various donuts and rate them?  

The only part I'm confused about is how this company can justify paying people to get COPD and cancer.

Stick with MRSI's smoking program. Don't be afraid of cancer and the costs. Obamacare will pay for the breathing tubes pushed down your throat into your lungs, and even the refills of the oxygen tanks.
You will be allowed to have the breathing tubes removed ocassionally to confirm your reports to MRSI and continue to participate in some way with this program.

LOL ... maybe they'll let the cancer-ridden survey participants smoke through the breathing tubes!

The best way to start research in preparation for this event is to go to Google and enter "breathing tubes"
and Search all the various types of breathing tubes available to patients who are dying of Throat Cancer or Lung Cancer as a result of their smoking habit. Maybe there are some breathing tubes that allow you to smoke even while you have the breathing tubes inserted thru a hole made in your neck, although I have heard of a case in which a cancer patient in a hospital blew up a whole section of the hospital by lighting a cigarette while the oxygen tank had not been fully shut off. Besiodes cancers of the throat and lungs, there is such a thing as mouth or oral cancer caused by chewing tobacco. Maybe MRSI should launch a tobacco-chewing survey to serve the companies that supply chewing tobacco. That should be pretty popular, with the ban on smoking in public places in certain cities. Oral cancer is more convenient to have, since you can live without the breathing tubes, you can breathe freely but you are fed by a feeding tube inserted thru your throat into your stomach.
