This number has called with caller id Neilsen
Several times a day for the past week
They are also calling after 9pm which I understand to be illegal
How do I report them and to whom do I report them to besides the do not call list

Uh... These are the TV/radio ratings people. 100% legit company. (Source: Myself, not affiliated with them. And their mail. Open something from them and you'll find money enclosed.) If you pick up this number, you could take part in the ratings for a week and will make money just for getting a booklet.

...there is a ONE DOLLAR BILL in the mailing.  I never participate - I don't watch TV or listen to the radio regularly.

I got a letter in the mail last week from the Nielsen ratings company saying I had been selected to rate radio stations in my area.  The letter warned me that they would be calling me in the next few days.  I was not interested and never replied.  They have now been calling me twice a day for the past four days.  They never leave a message.  I recently bought a call blocker for my home phone and have this number on the list to be blocked.  Unfortunately, the Nielsen people are undeterred.  I have an unpublished number and am on the do not call list.  I have no idea how they got my information.

Just called 8:40pm. As I don't know who they are, I did not answer it.

This company does send you money for answering their questions and filling out their surveys. I have made a few bucks so far for simply sharing my opinions.

*WARNING - SCAM ALERT* - To save time and put it plain and simple.  This number is a scammer.  They call numerous times a day via robo call.  Hardly ever leave a message.  If someone in my house accidentally picks it up, it's someone from India trying to find a way to part us from our hard earned bucks.  Yeah right.  Ha ha.  That's what we're going to do.  Send a complete stranger over the phone our money.  Not!  lol.   I finally blocked them.

Last year I had trouble convincing these people I don't do surveys, yet here they are again.  They're now blocked for next time.

Foreign speaking gal, said she is from Nielsen, started asking questions.  CLICK, BYE BYE.

Nielsen is a radio & TV ratings company.  In the last 3 days, they have been blanketing my area with mail ads and phone calls.  If you get one by mail, be sure to open it before discarding it, as it may have a couple of genuine dollar bills included.  Don't feel obligated to reply just because of that -- isn't your time worth more than two dollars?  Nielsen wants to buy data so they can resell it for a very large markup.  Don't give them anything they can use -- either ignore them or make up some fake data.  They deserve it.

I've been receiving calls from this number multiple times a day with no messages for over a week now.

I am also on a do not call list.

I am the do not call list and I am having a number of calls from numbers that I am unfamiliar with so I will not answer any calls. Why do they not leave voice mail ?

The call is from Nielsen.  Besides being on the useless "Do Not Call" list, my number is also unlisted and unpublished.  They are relentless, as they call here about three times a day.  Their last call was this evening at 8:45.  They received an ear-full from me.  Hopefully they won't call back, as I am not interested in answering any questions about anything.

From Nielsen Media. They're following up to see if I received my Nielsen Radio survey, and reminded me to complete it. They also provided instructions for when and how to document what I listen to on the radio.

I actually got mail from these people with a dollar bill in it.  I took the dollar and answered a very short survey about radio listening.  Sent it back.  They then sent me $10 cash.  I answered another survey, I think... sent it back... they then sent me 3 more surveys about radio listening with $2 cash in each survey.  So, I've gotten $17 cash from these people for not doing a whole lot of work.  When I send these 3 surveys back, they promise to send another $10 PER survey... so $30 more I should be getting from them.  I'll keep taking their surveys if they keep sending me $$$ =)
