The current # 5137549822 is from a call center for Macy and Bloomingdales. They do not leave a message if a live person picks up the call, possibly due to it being initiated by a robot. Once you call them back you do not have to give them your social security number nor your credit card number, they will accept your telephone number that the account is associated with. Ask them to verify your last payments and the dates of those payments; this ensures that they are indeed the call center for your credit card. You can also opt to not talk with them until you are able to call the 800# that is associated with the credit card... the # that is printed on your paper statement or on their website.

Keeps calling every half hour. Won't leave a message. My caller ID says Macy's Bloomies. I have no Macy's account and I have never even shopped there. Getting very annoyed with the thousand phone calls every day.  I block one number they call back with same name but different numbers. They shouldn't even be aloud any kind of calls like these. The do not call list is a joke. I'm on it and I'm continuously getting calls that say unkown and it's some kind of scam.  This is just getting out of hand.

I googled this number after they did not leave a message, then I blocked.  Shortly after that I got one from the same area code - blocked it too.  The third time it said “ no caller id.”  I think they gave up now.

It’s Macys. They call you if your 7 days late on a payment.

This, calls SCAM. You give the number and they just use that.

They being calling my cell every day.  I don't answer. But it's very annoying just see how persistent they're.

I was called on my cell and the number said Macy's Bloomies. The woman was very nice and said I missed my payment and that she could take it over the phone. I was a little suspicious so I said that I would pay it on Friday. She said she could take a payment over the phone right now and that she had my checking information on file. I said  no, don't do that, I will make a payment on Friday. She asked how much and seemed to take notes. Then when I got home I checked my account and I had made a payment and no minimum is due until next month. It must be a scam! I thought it was weird that a corporation would call itself "Bloomies" rather than Bloomingdales.

Complete scam! They call 5-10 times a day (including weekends and late into the evening). If you call them back from a different number, an automated system will attempt to solicit your account, credit card, and social security numbers without an explanation. Clearly they've obtained contact information for individuals with Macy's or Bloomingdale's accounts, but they organization which they claim to be associated with is not the actual bank that issues these cards (which is Department Stores National Bank). Do not provide your information to these people!
