I am getting 2-6 calls a day, weekends and weekdays.  I never answer and they never leave a msg.  it is my understanding this is from a spam or fishing scam.

I am getting these calls too. Several a day, never leave messages.
I doubt this is legitimately "Macy's". Probably some scam hacker who dials into to Macy's call center somehow.
Never give your SS# to anyone over the phone! Macy's would not ask for that.  This is obviously a scam.
Next time they call I think I'll pick up and give them some of their crap back!

they've been calling me for weeks day and night, weekdays and weekends, several times a day. i spoke to them one time they said it was macys' they knew my account details which is scary but i had paid my bills. they were extremely rude. it's definitely a scam but how to get them to stop calling? have no idea how to block a number on my phone.

(513-754-9852: "Ohio Call")  This # is from Macy's "Call Center" when your Macy's bill has not been paid.  I have received numerous calls for the past 3 weeks but was never home and the representatives have never left a message on my answering machine.  Just 15 minutes ago I received a call, answered it, and actually spoke to a real person!  I just opened a Macy's account back in June but never received a statement or card in the mail.  The number she gave me for Customer Service is: 1-866-593-2543: open Monday through Friday-I didn't get the hours.

So-this is not a scam, but legit!!!   Hope this helps everyone.

I can't believe this is legit. They call at all hours and if you pick up the phone, it's a hang up. If you don't, they don't leave a message. Something is way off with this.

It is macys, if your past due they will call until you pay amount you have not paid.

if you answer and make payment or tell when you have made payment it will stop, it is macys collection department. call number on card to verify.

I got one call from this number and blocked it but have received calls from two other Macys-related numbers purportedly about credit. I have never owned a Macys credit card. I hope that I do not run out of call blocking capacity. Before I blocked numbers, there were never any messages left for me.

Just to be clear it is NOT Macys calling you.  It is the BANK that services your credit account with Macys.  You are not talking to macys employees, you are speaking to bank employees who work on the macys accounts.
Just wanted to make that clear because sometimes they are very unhelpful and rude and sometimes downright useless.  

How do I know??  I work for macys and I have to help people with their bills all the time, and I can't..all I can do is call the bank and walk through the process on the customers behalf.  They will say they are macys, but they are not.  They work on behalf of macys but not for macys.  

If you have an issue, go to your local store and ask for the AST (Admin Support Team) and they can help straighten out your bill and sometimes get fees waived for you.

Don't bother to send the complaint to OHIO, as again, it is not really getting to anyone in Macy's to help you.  GO to your local store.  Calling can help too, but if you want an actual MACY'S associate to help you then you really should be there in person so they can verify your info and go over your bill with you.

It is macy's collection...just spoke to them. I am 2 days past due and they're already harassing me!

This is a Macy's number, they are based in the Philippine's. I just talked to their customer service and they verified that that number is a Macy's number.
