- rod replies to rodI just called them. They looked up my phone number. The name of the person they were calling had my phone number before the phone company gave it to me in 2007.
- cat replies to Lisawell if this is a legit call i have no idea why they would be calling me. i don't have an account with Macy's. i've had this phone number for 30 years so it can't be for somebody else.
- yoyoI received a call from this number yesterday and another on Saturday from a 727 , I did try opening an account with Macys but it said I would receive a letter in the mail or something like that. My mail goes to my parents so I have not known of anything of it. I have not used my account so how does this make it possible for them to collect money? Are they really Macy's? And are they a scam? Someone please help.
- Not a Macy Customer!This is a scam number, ignore it. I Don't shop or have a Macy's account.

- Caller: Macy
- BloomiesIf you bought something at Bloomingdales. They are owned by Macy's. Basically. They give you a week to pay your bill. Then they give it to bill collectors. SO ANNOYING.

- MuSt4ngIt's an absolute scam! they called and asked for a person with my sister's first name and my mom's last name...Then later on we contacted the actual Macy's on the phone number they have on their website and confirmed that our cards are paid off for the past 6 months and it wasn't them calling us. They said all their phone numbers are 1-800 phone numbers.

- PJIf you do business with Macy's, or don't do business with Macy's, it's time to cut them off, even if the calls are not actually from Macy's, in the Philippines
- Caller: Macy's (maybe, maybe not)
- Call type: Telemarketer
- PJFinally talked to one of these '"Macy's" account agents in the Philippines named Teresa Ricesanobal, employee number 6345. Factious name, nothing but a scam.

- HCCame up on my phone as being from Mason, OH. Called them back and they were from Macy's, my account was past due. They asked for my account #, I told them I didn't have it. Then they asked for me phone #, I gave it to them, and they verified my name and told me my account was past due (by about a week, my bad). Told them I would make a payment in another week, and ended the call.
- Caller: Macy's credit

- SuzyI got a call saying I missed 2 payments on my card, but the balance on the Macy's Website showed 0. So I called the number on the back of my Macy's credit card and the lady said that the Macy's website only shows Macy's purchases! If I use the card outside Macy's, it counts as an American Express card, and I should get a separate statement from American Express. As a Macy's card, purchases get charged to an account number that is registered on the Macy's website. As an AmEx card, the statements should show the number that is actually on the front of the card. These 2 numbers are different. So, I did in fact have a balance on the AmEx card that never showed up on my Macy's account. How messed up is that? I moved in the past year, and didn't realize I had to change my address with AmEx as well as Macy's, so never got the statements and was late as the lady said. This IS A LEGIT number. If you are behind, you should pay, turns out their late fees are really outrageous, too. :(
