i'v been getting calls from this number almost every day. I do not answer any call that I do not know. caller id showed ravi patel from cold springs harbor ny

I have received six phone calls from the number 516 340 2446 caller id'd "Ravi Patel"  since July 7th.  

July 7th at 2:16, July 9th at 5:24 pm July 10 11:19 am, July 11 2:08pm and July 15 at 9:40am.  I spoke to the man once he said he was calling about my medical compensation and I refused to answer his question about my 'medical surgery' and hung up.  I ignored his other calls.  He called again today and I again refused to answer any questions, told him he had called me repeatedly and I was going to call the police.

I have had surgeries, but I know this is fraudulent.  I have contacted my local hospital about this too.

I got a call from this number this morning at 7:24 AM!! Needless to say, I didn't answer it nor will I ever!!

I have received at least 10 calls from this medical compensation company wanting to know when I had a specific surgery, which I have never had.  I have told them each time to remove my name, do not call anymore, and that they have false information.  I am even on the DO NOT CALL Registry.  I even filed a complaint with them.

Received a weird call asking if I've been taking 'bladdar pills'. When I asked who was calling he just said 'medical supply'. He went on and on in broken English about 'urine fixing' and '[***] pills'. He then switched to asking about birth control pills and offering free birth control pills. I informed him that everyone now has access to free birth control pills through the affordable care act and that this number was on the 'Do Not Call' list. He continued going on and on about birth control pills so I hung up.

well same number. knows my name.HOW to get rid of him?

Just got a call from this number. It was a guy with a strong Indian accent. He said he was from some medical company. When I asked to be put on his do-not-call list, he said, "Actually, this is a call about your medical compensation". Clearly a scam. So I hung up on him.

I got a call from this number and didn't answer. I ended up with a 5 minute voice mail of just static nothing was said no name  nothing.

I got a call from one of these guys awhile back and when he mentioned surgery I paused and told him that I hadn't had one.  Then I told him that I did have a [***] enlargement surgery and he said "have a good day" and hung up.  Never got a call back from them.  

This number won't stop calling! They claim that I had a surgery and they're from the Medical department.

I was called three days in a row from this number - each time I answered they hung up.   I was busy the first two times - I hit callback today.   Man answered - thick accent.   I asked him why he called and hung up and he said 'ok'.  I told him ok wasn't an answer - I wanted to know who he was and why he was calling me - and he was just breathing... Not heavy but I knew he was there.   I told him if he called me again I'd contact the FCC and to take me off his list / I'm on national do not call list.   He sounded like he laughed - that's when I told him to get a life...freaks!

receive this call several times. I keep hanging up. comes up at patel ravi. Love your answer J. might uses that ..lol.

keep getting calls from this number..never answer, have a blocker on it so that helps.  By blocker shows the number it blocked...maybe they'll get the hint...maybe not. How annoying.

Same as all the others, aggravating, going to report it now.

1)  Do not answer callers you aren't familiar with.

2) You should also consider a call blocking device or even a phone that offers this option. There are number are a number of models out there. Do your research and find the one that fits your needs.

3) Most importantly.  Report the calls to both the FTC and the FCC.

(516) 340-2446 this number keeps calling me telling me I had a surgery that I didn't have.  He flat out told me I was lying!  They usually call my phone,  I answer and they hang up.  So I've called back a couple times now and asked to be taken off the list.  He has told me 3 times he would but I still get the calls.  He has called twice today and kept hanging up on me when I asked to speak with the manager.  

What an idiot !! This person has called, and called, and called. I have repeated asked for him not to call again, only to get another call.  The person can barely speak English. I have traced the calls and found it to be "scams". This person also uses several different phone numbers, when I block one they call back with another number. It is so bad that I am going to have the police department to tap my phone.
