- donCalled me 3 times today, with no message. The third time I answered. What sounded like a woman answered the phone and said what I think was 'O Sorry' then hung up. Goggle led me here. I really wish there was something we could do to these people. It's not the first time I've had something like this happen. First time with this number though.

- picosoSimilar to above: $50 Gas card + discount buying, $2.48 s&h, $19.98 after 21 days, "only if you choose to keep it".
He had the VISA last four digits & my address. He mentioned First Action Investment, and I asked who KBF was. He said 'Key Benefits'. I've gotten a ton of calls from them in the last 2 weeks. I smelled fish over the phone. Glad you all participated. Thanks.- Caller: Key Benefits

- Tammy E.I have been receiving calls the past few days, several times a day. I don't answer. Fom (517) 933-2009. I checked online and found out it's from Michigan. The caller id says KBF. Who are they? I am going to find a way to stop telemarketers. I have a private number.
- gonna get these [***]The caller asked for me by name, but I was lucky and had already looked up the number on google . She proceeded to do EXACTLY what everyone says. I told her she did not have me on the phone ,and said I was someone else .They proceeded to try and offer the scam again w/the 50$ gas card . I proceeded to tell the person to stop calling me and i would be reporting to the authorities.

- KimI just received a call from a man stating that he was from VISA and wanted to confirm my address so that they could send me a gas rebate. I knew it was a scam from the beginning but wanted to get more information out of him. Eventually he stated that he wasn't from VISA but was from First Action Investment. He tried very hard to get any possible information out of me that he could. Obviously I didn't give him anything but I wanted to keep him on the line to actually get some information out of him so that I could report his a**. He called from 201-257-4420.
- emI just received a call from KBF 517-933-2009. Same story - We want to thank you for using your mastercard and send you a gift of $50 gas card and something about discounts. The woman had a heavy accent and I couldn't really understand what she ways trying to get accross, but really wanted me to give her my CC# for only $2.00 shipping. When I said I wasn't interested she said sounded angry and said "but it's only $2.00". I hung up.

- tired of itHow can these people sleep at night knowing how sleazy they are. Fishing for account info and decieving folks. These companies need to be found out and hung from the neck in the village square for what they do. Obviously they are recieving info from businesses where we use our cards and that is the worse sin. If we can find out who they are charges should be brought against them and again the village square should apply.
- Caller: 517-933-2009
- tired of it againI called the number back and got a recording that sounds similar to the phone companies "number out of service" recording but something just wasnt right about it if all of these other posters are called from the same number. It is not disconnected and they are hiding like cowards. They should pray I never find out who they are.
- Lady Di replies to DeeDee| 4 repliesIt seems that since I registered for the DO NOT CALL list, I have been swamped with calls. My guess is, "someone" sends out a note that says, "You cannot call 000-000-0000 after 30 days". I don't answer these calls but it's certainly annoying. So, today I had some fun. I blocked my number by dialing *67 - They ask you to leave your name, address and number. I looked up some businesses - made up names and gave the address and phone number to restaurants, churches and funeral homes. (I don't pay for long distance service but if you have a cell phone, most are free after 9pm). Hey, it's fun when I think of them calling all those bogus numbers back. Please feel free to use my idea! :-)
- Lady Di replies to ColdFuHi. I think we should ALL call them back and swamp THEIR voice mail. Here is a list of the REJECTION HOTLINE numbers - - pick one and leave a message back - - MAYBE these idiots will get the message. Plus, if they are busy checking THEIR voicemails, they won't have time to bother us! United we stand :-)

- AnnoyedThey kept calling all last week. Since I didn't know the phone number, I didn't answer the call. This afternoon, however, I answered because my toddler was taking a nap. A lady named "Anna" called over a very noisy background and asked to speak to my husband. I asked "who is calling?" (which I had to ask twice)and she said, "this is Anna calling and I am making a courtesy call." I said, "I am his wife and you can speak to me." She then said, "I am making a courtesy call about your mastercard." "I said, "we don't use a mastercard, so how can you be calling about something we don't use?" She immediately hung up!
- ChristyI too got a call from this number. I had assumed it was some motivated creditor... doesn't sound like it is though. I guess all I can do is ignore them.
- Caller: Inbound
- Josh Mineros| 1 replyI too have been receiving calls from thiss 517 933 2009 & 1 800 955 6600 they are both from the same company offering as much as $50.00 a month in free gas good anywhere!, sounds too good to believe? IT IS! don't fall for it. Since they have the last 4 digits of your Debit card, they will ASK for you to "confirm" all the numbers so they can be sure they add the $50.00 to the right DEBIT/CC# It is definetaly a scam! these are the type of people that will "SHARE" your personal, private, and confidential information with others!! Be smart and don't share ANY type of information over the phone to any company/organization who you do not recognize. (i.e...Bank of America,Comcast,Verizon,Sprint, all these are good reputable solid companies). Good Luck!
