Lady named 'Lee Andersen' on the line, wanted to speak to my son about his visa which he does not have.  Told her he was not here, then she wanted to know if I was his wife which I am not. She seemed to know about a visa.  I hung up.  Now, after reading the previous comments, I'd better call the credit card.  PRV has also been calling my phone number from 213-732-2643

First time I ever received a call from this number. I do not answer calls that I don't recognize the number. Went online to see if I could find out who is calling, and saw all of this information. I will keep ignoring this call, I can just hit ignore on my phone, eventually they will stop calling.

Called me today 11/9/2008 at 9:00am on a Sunday morning.  They are still at it.  Same scam as previously reported.  Price has gone up though.  They offered me a $300.00 gas card and a 50% off card for $3.00 shipping and handling.  The 50% off card is only good for 7 days.  She spoke broken english and did have the last 4 digits of my Visa.  I would not confirm my address or anything else.  She said she would call back.  Crooks!

Keeps calling my cell phone. I missed the call twice so I called back and when the line picked up it stated "please hold all agents are busy".  The automated voice did not state the name of the company.

My grandmother received a call from this number. They started asking her questions about her VISA, she told them that she wasn't interested and hung up. I tried calling back the number and got the same, mailbox full, nonsense. What's interesting was that just that day I helped her put her number on the DO NOT CALL registry.

I received a call from 517-933-2009 on my cell phone today.  The woman asked for me by name. She said that they were calling because I was a loyal Visa card customer.  They said that I would receive a $300 gas card for being a loyal customer.  Then she went on to tell me that there was no obligation I just needed to call within 7 days if I wasn't satisfied.  Satisfied with what???  She never told me what she was trying to sell or even what company she was representing.  She couldn't even tell me the issuing company of my Visa card when I asked.  BEWARE!!!

I have gotten several calls from this phone number & several other numbers with different area codes.  At first I didn't answer the calls because I didn't recognize the number, but after about 2 weeks of persistence, I finally answered.  It's always the same scheme, but different people.  They state that are calling in regards to my visa ending in "xxxx."  Then say they want to thank me for being a great customer and having my card for so long.  They want to send me a $300 gas card for nothing.  They then state that all they need to do is verify my name and address.  When I ask them what company they are calling from they say, "In regards to your visa."  Then I ask which visa with which company, and they say they haven't been given that information all they have is the last 4 digits.  When I tell them I am not interested the hang up.  Then a few days later I get a call again.  I repeatedly have told them not to call me but they do not give up.  Just DO NOT give them what they want!

every day twice a day..... I havent answered but will next time....

I add them to a long list I have in my cell phone address book of such callers with the call dialer's number as shown, but I give them a serial name, DA 1, DA 2, DA 3, etc, meaning "Don't Answer" and use the "ignore" button as soon as they ring a second time. My cell phone Service's "Office of the President" (oh, yeah!) gets a list of these numbers every month, and they acknowledge my communicationd, but who knows what they do with them?

Let's sue these people, i keep getting calls from this number too...

I have been receiving these calls several times a day, they do not leave a message.  I do not answer calls that I do not recognize to save time on the phone.  The only two places that I have ever used this card, if they have the info is for my web site payment and for Paypal.  Personally, I really do not trust PayPal as I am always getting spam from a spoof paypal e-mail address.

they call me three to four times a day.  I never pick up but they are never leaving a message.  I find this very suspicious.

I just got a call from "Gold Coast" offering me a $300 gas card due to my loyalty with my MasterCard. The guy had the last four digits. I asked who he was connected to and he said he was a marketing partner of my bank. I informed him that I was with a private bank and there was no way his company was connected to my bank. I told him to never call me again and hung up.

I had a call from this company, could barely understand the guy on the phone bc of his accent but he knew my name and the last 4 digits of my debit card. He said they wanted to send me a free $300 gift. I was suspicious, so I started asking questions.  He said he was from Gold Coast or something like that.  I hung up, and it called me right back... but there was silence on the other end.  I cancelled my debit card right after that.

A man phone my job and stated the four last number of a credit card (that was mine) and states that due to long time standing with this credit card company that they issuing me a $300.00 gas card or I could get the cash (never expires). Then I inquired as to what does this cost me. He informed me that it would only cost me $3.95 and all I needed to do was verify my address. That is when I cut him off and informed him that I was not interested and hung up the phone.

I just got a call from 517-933-2009, I hung up as I knew it was a telemarketer due to the pause before the woman spoke. She did not call back. I researched the # and found this site. I am wondering if we can determine if there is a vendor we all shopped with, and an employee taking the info. I bought a tree online in memory of a friend that died. It was through an online site for only $1. I thought it was a good "green" thing to do and that a dollar was so little, and the thought would mean a lot. Well, now I am worried that this dollar purchase may have started credit card fraud. The payment for the $1 tree was put through the amazon website, which I had an account and had saved an old credit card number. (although I cancelled that card and used a differnt one). My Amzaon online account was also connected to a Target.com online account. The next day a $600 video game purchase was entered in my target online account, but target noticed the charge and didnt put it through, they cancelled my target online account. I cancelled my Visa cards and closed the accounts.

I got this call every night for the last two weeks, when i called it back it said mail box was full. I dont know who these people are but be very careful not to give your info. when i called the next day they tried to confirm my credit card number, i told them that i didnt have a credit card ( i really do") they hung up on me

They're still calling people ~ began calling me 3 days ago.  They're relentless, never leave a message, and will call throughout the day, evening, and on weekends... Couldn't believe I found their number on this site with all these comments.  I don't answer the calls, but that doesn't seem to keep them from trying again.

I own a restaurant.  It's a stupid idea.  Thanks.

have reported this company to the FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection and I suggest you all do the same.
