Caller ID said INFO SURVEY, so I did not answer.  The partial message that was left was a recording: Card services.  The numbers they use are all spoofed.  I even got a call from them once, they were using my *OWN* phone number.  How clever.  They are almost impossible to block since they keep using caller ID numbers.  The FTC considers them to be public enemy #1.  Sometimes they get caught, but they seem to pop up again somewhere else.  I love to play along, pretending to be interested in "lowering my credit card interest rate".  But, you have to pretend to have at least $4500 in debt, and make up everything else.  See how long you can keep them on the phone.  Waste their time.  Its the only way to fight back!  Ha! Ha!

Not the only way to fight back, and certainly not the best way. You can tie them up for hours on end and eventually tell them you're not interested, but they still win because you answered. Extra money in their pockets for numbers that have answers. You put them out of action by not answering. Scammers can't play without any participants.

Constant calls from 518-244-8590 . I am on do not call list. Credit as of soem type.

Stop these calls.

It is amazing that they will just attempt to use different numbers and still have not realize that most people do not pick up when they do not recognize numbers . I just blocked this number however I do know people in the 518 area code including the do not call registry which does call me on occasion so I cannot block the entire area code. But my call Blocker device can block up to 1200 numbers.

I don't answer any calls and as per my conversation with the do not call representative she also advised not to answer or speak with them. I just block the numbers, and if they change numbers block that also as well as the area code if I can. Once they reach a live person they know that number is a viable number and they will either continue calling or give your number to the next set of scammers so it will never stop.

Don't answer any City and State only in your caller ID - most likely it is a scam.

I just wish the fcc would do something about these [***].  High this is carmen.  To bad I don't have the power to send a shock through the telephone system.

I did call the number back and was given a option to be placed on their do not call list.  We will see if it works.....

One of the problems in talking to them is that they will get more nasty and continue to call and then pass your number onto other harassing and annoying scammers. When I received a call from my do not call Registry representative. she also advised not to answer any calls that you do not recognize the number and not to call them back not to press whatever number they say to press. It only indicates a life working number which then is forwarded to everybody else. My call Blocker also locks up to 1200 numbers and area codes and I'm definitely taking advantage of that. Unfortunately technology to stop them has not caught up with the technology they have to continue calling and spoofing. Anyone who could stop them would also get my vote.

Got this call again today.  I have asked that my number be removed from their list and the response i got was "no."  I have been on the Do Not Call registry for years and keep renewing it.  I have reported them today.  Very Annoyed!

I'm not sure how much good it will do to program old numbers.  It's not like it costs them money to spoof a new number.

As far as complaining to their supervisor, or the government, neither cares about you.  They are robocalling hundreds of people an hour, maybe per minute.  That's why you get calls where no one answers.  They aren't going to reprogram their system to not call you.

She asked if I had a balance of 2K on my credit card. When I started asking question she hang up on me. These have been calling me at least twice a day with this urgent and final "offer"
