I recieve calls from this number weekly, even my kids get calls during school hours. If you try to call back the number is no longer in service. Two weeks ago the guy on the other end tried to start a fight with me and threatened to show up at my door...I told to go for it and warned him he might not the surprise waiting for him. he laughed and said he likes all surprises..my reply was I will let lady 16 gauge know to expect you...he did not get it and I hung up.

Called me on my cell yesterday.  I did not answer and they did not leave a message.

Called me today, didn't leave a message. I tried calling the number back but I got a message saying it was disconnected.

starts as recorded message from cardmember (cardholder) services that this is my final notice (I wish) about an opportunity to lower my credit rates, press 1 to continue.  Press 1 and waitin in queue which burns down really fast (not surprising).  When I get a person on the phone I ask them to stop calling me and he hangs up on up (no wonder why the queue burns down so fast).

Reported to national do not call list but I suspect that is pretty worthless.

They called and said i could get a lower rate....If I was interested press 1....When I got a response she ask me if I would like my credid card lowerd ....I replyed I do not have a credit card she hung up......sounds like a scam.....

I was stupid enough to give them my info. Panicked after reading on this site about it being a scam so I canceled my card. Now I have to go and get a new bank card. Won't fall for this crap again.

I wish it was that easy. Unfortunately, each time I have gotten a live person, the moment I begin to speak, they hang up. See note above about compiling numbers for a listing. That appears to be their purpose to me. No more acknowledgements by me.

(4) Calls today (No Answer) from this number to my cell phone.  Guess I need to block it on Verizon!  Too bad Verizon limits blocked numbers!  UGH!

Got a call from this number  - they left no message - thought I recognized it.  I called it back and was told that the number was not in use. "Please check and try again"  Hmmmmm.

I have relatives in the 518 area so I did a reverse look-up on switchboard.com right away.  These are always telemarketers or phishers; if you don't answer they will register as a dropped call - they never leave a message.  If you try to call back you will likely receive an out-of-service message.  These are maddening but I've been told by my carrier (Verizon) that I will not be charged for calls I do not answer and that leave no message.  Just ignore them, be glad that YOU have a life, and keep breathing!

A Robo-call from a company claiming they will negotiate with my banks and creditors to lower the interest charged on my credit cards and loans.  I was instructed to push 1 to talk to a person.  The person answered and I asked to be removed from their call list and told them I was on the Do Not Call list.  He was very snotty and told me that I called him by pushing 1 and it did not matter if I was on the Do Not Call list and they did not have to remove my number from their call list.  These asshats have come up with a work around to the FTC rules.  The Panasonic phone I use (KX-TGA750) with caller ID allows me to block calls.  I will report them to the FTC and block their [***]!  Crooks!
