- JLCFrustrated with this "company". I received a phone call 5 yrs(maybe more) or so ago, claiming I owe money. I received paperwork to this effect as well, did my research because I disputed it and was worried about fraud. The bill they claimed I owed I never had (credit card). I called the companies they had listed put a fraud alert on my equifax. The bank they said I owed had NO records of a credit card in my name and suggested putting the fraud alert into play for my protection. I have only spoke to them to ask to be removed from their list....many rude people work there and even though I have told them they have the wrong number they keep calling. For anyone receiving calls from this company be careful as they will lie and say they are from a marketing company and you have won a prize they try to sink to new levels. I have been receiving calls in spurts from this company for so long that I am thinking about contacting a lawyer to have something official sent to them to get rid of them. I feel beyond harassed and not sure how to she these blood suckers, especially since I don't owe them or anyone else money.

- RobbieGot a call today...Who are the clients they represent? Are they coming after me for my 20+ year student loan? Or is it When I told Rogers to take a hike 5 years ago? Is it Bell from 7 years ago? Hydro 8 yrs ago? Capital One 10 yrs ago? My point being that apart from Rogers and the student loan, all this crap will be off my credit rating!

- I do Owe Money| 1 reply(519) 963-8038
I only learned the name of this company by having looked up this particular phone number.
This is an anonymous page.
If they are calling you, you DO owe money!
Why lie?
No one knows who you are.
Perhaps you are lying to yourself.....
This number called me this morning in Toronto, Ontario
I just said they had the wrong number and add them to a long growing list of Blocked numbers.
The money owed is owed to a bank.
They will never get it from me.
They will continue to sell the lists from one company to another once they don't get any from you.
On to the next.
Your best bet IF they are bothering you is to ensure the next time you get a phone its never put in your name. If you have one already, you can arrange with your phone company, most of the time to have your name taken off. It wont stop those already calling but it will eventually cease if you keep denying you are the person they are looking for.
Its through your number they will find and harass you.
Put your name under a nickname or even just your first name but not a full one.
The money they spend trying to track down piddly little amounts is often 20x larger than whats owed but it's a game that will continue so if bothering you today, you will be so again and again.
Last but not least, download some blocked calls software and set it up that each time they call, the phone will pick up and hang right back up on them. They will grow weary and start selling your name to another agency. IF you allow it to be picked up by your answering service, they still win by leaving a message for you, not to mention an annoying habit of having to call/listen and delete every call they leave on your service,
Happy Deleting!!!! :)- Caller: (519)963-8038

- M| 1 replyI have recently got a new number from my cellphone carrier. And this company keeps on calling me looking for someone else. Which I assume had this number previously. But every time this number calls me, I don't answer because its not a known contact in my contact list. I only answer phone calls when a contact I have saved in my phones contact list states my known contacts name in my caller ID. So when someone calls me by only a number showing then I know right away its no one I know, so then I never answer these types of calls, and always let the calls go to voicemail.
But the truth about collection agencies is that the actual debt people had owed to the companies they got loans from have already been paid off by the collection agency which bought your debts. Which then makes the original contract you had with the Original loan company void because the debt has now been paid off. And then the collection agency is trying to collect that debt to pay the collection agency and they are not trying to collect that money for the loan company anymore. Its to be able to pay the collection agency from the debt they bought over. So technically you have no legal contract with the collection agency for the loan contract itself. The contract was legally between you and the loan company. not with the collection agency. So in reality you don't legally owe that money anymore to the loan company because the collection agency has already paid that loan on your behalf and bought the debt. And legally makes the agreement void and the collection agency then has no legal right to make you pay back a loan for which you did not legally sign a contract with the collection agency for that loan. For this very reason is why Collection agencies have never taken people to court to force people to pay off debts to them. They may threaten people by letters saying they'll take legal action or harass people by calling the person many times, but they have no legs to stand on by going to court cause the court will ask them to see any legal agreements or paperwork signed by the person who was ever given a direct loan from the collection agency themselves. Which they can not ever produce, because the actual loan signed paperwork and documents were between the loan company and the person who got the loan only. But Third parties can not seek financial judgement for by a court because the person who got the loan never made or agreed to have made any business arrangement by the collection agency. The loan company has already gotten their money back by the collection agency bought the debt so the court will just say the actual loan company has already gotten their financial payout and then the loan company has no other legal rights to be seeking financial repayment by the person who owed the debt. And on a legal standpoint the Collection Agency also has no right to be seeking any sort of financial repayment from the debtor either, cause the debtor had never made any legal agreement to the collection agency for that loan.- Caller: AKTIV KAPTIAL
