I work for a local police dept and they called every single one of our lines. After yelling at them three times, they hung up on me every time after that. Same as stated above, asking about smoke detectors. None of the people that called spoke very much English.

called at 8:23 pm, caller id said "private caller" & they did not leave a message on my machine

Received call from the above no.  Have caller ID, did not know caller so did not answer phone.

Received a call from them today.  The guy spoke very poor English.  Told me I won the free $1200 alarm system from GE.  I hung up before he could go any further.

I received a call from this number and the guys said he is from "Security Networks" and then hung up.
it sounds like a scam.

calls from 561-300-8724 and 352-352-1234. Neither leave a message, calling almost every other day.

They had someone call me who was unintelligible and inarticualte to say the least (maybe he did not have a teleprompter) and asked me if I had smoke detectors in the house. I told him not to call back and challenged him to a bare fisted cage match.

I got a call from this number today; the caller ID read "Unknown." I did answer it but the caller hung up. Annoying. Haven't they heard of the Do Not Call List??

Just got a number from this telemarketer.  Indian jerk on the other side hung up on me after i told them about do not call registry.  It's a landline in  Boca Raton, FL.

I would like to know how  these immigrants actually think that people will fall for this scam.
I told the indian f&*^@# that I was on the do not call list and that I would be reporting this violation and that I am entitled to $$$

Got the call. I won a security system. I guess that they were out of smoke detectors. He asked if I was the homeowner. Since that seemed to matter, I said that we rented.
He apologised and hung up. Poor fellow having to work this crappy job.

The phone rang at 6:50 pm.  The caller ID said "Private Name."  I answered & said hello and it sounded like no one was on the line.  Then I suddenly heared a din of noise, like maybe a call center with a lot of voices in the background.  A male voice came on the line and said hello.  He had an accent (India?).  I said, "Can I help you?"  He mumbled something that did not sound like words and hung up.

Mom same here some guy with an accent wanting to get after me for me not following rules yet said in a foreign voice hearing lots of other voices in the background. I just hung up on the brutal caller.

unwanted annoying phone calls daily this needs to stop asap !!

I just got the fire alarm call for the third time in two weeks.  Next time I am going to say I do not have any and when I win the free system, I am going to give them the address to my towns police department....let the installer show up there!

I got a call from them today 1/26/11 at 12:30 PM.  I'm in Cleveland, OH and they did not say anything.  I just hung up the phone and tried to call back but no message/ans.box available.  I checked the number and found all of you making comments, thus I'm doing the same.  Scam

Just recv'd call, caller id says unknown caller.  Checked voicemail, could hear noise in background, then caller hung up.  Called # back, mailbox full.  Blocked number.

They continue to call even though I tell them I'm protected by Smith and Wesson and Ruger systems, they aleays say they are not famillar with those companies. Last time I added that I had two pitbulls and a mean [***] german sheperd. I think I got cussed out in some other language other than English.
