Couldn't understand the person on the other end. Do not want any more calls from them!

I got the same type of call.

Same as many other have reported.  Called acting like a survey on smoke detectors.  Asked me if I ever feared fires for felt unsafe at home.  "I said no".  They told me I might be selected for (inaudible) and that they would (inaudible).

Irec'd calls fromthis # 15 times yesterday.  Never answered and never left msg.  ugh...

answered.  nobody on the line.  after about 30 seconds i just hung up.

I do not want any more calls from this number...

These are scam calls.  Out of Florida.  Don't waste your time on these scammers. Report and Block the number.

I got a call 1 hour ago. Let it go to voice mail. No message left.

I got a call today and once about 2 weeks ago. Caller ID reads "unknown". No message left.

That's what happened to me. I thought it was a butt-dial before I read these posts about a Smoke Detector Survey thing.

Rec'd a call a few mins ago. Couldn't understand the person. All I could understand was something about smoke detectors. I asked them to remove my number from their calling list. I'm on the DO NOT CALL list - is this something that can be reported? There's always a reason why I can't report on a number - sigh....

Got this call and it showed Boca Raton, Florida on the ID.  A guy on the other end with a thick Indian accent that I could barely understand.  Couldn't make out the company he said he was from after asking him to repeat it twice.  He asked me about smoke detectors.  Told him I wasn't interested in anything they were selling and not to call back.  Obviously a scam of some sort.

I have been receiving calls from this "private" number also.  I do not answer and they leave no messages. Today I blocked my phone number and then called this number to see who or what company it was. Someone with a very foreign voice answered finally with the business name (unaudible).  It sounded as if the call got linked overseas or something - not a good sign.

It just rang but I didn't pick up. All it says on Caller ID is Boca Raton FL.

Who won the fight??

Got a call from this number, I answered the phone Good Morning with our business name, the person on the other end, asked if this was a business, my response was that was what I said when I answered.  He claimed he didn't hear or understand me, I said the business name again and said if take that as a business , he again claimed he didn't hear or understand, my response was then tough if you can't and then he would have heard a dial tone.  No way was I going to say yes to his question.

More of the same - 7:40 PM private caller on ID. I never answer numbers I don't know and of course no message was left. I refuse to give any low-life  a minute of my time!

it now says that the number was disconnected.   very interesting

got the call on answering machine..."hello....hello.....hello.."    I this was done purposely in hopes we would return the call...
