Also received a call from this number - caller just listened while I said "hello" several times.  Infuriating!

I just received the 16th call from these pepople.  16 times they have called, 16 times I have told them I'm not interisted.   I completely do not understand why the phone company or the government cant or wont do anything about this.

calls all the time-day and nite. never leaves a message. when answering machine picks up; says hello,hello. both male and female. Id says "boco ratan florida

Same "smoke alarm survey" scammer with accented voice.  Caller told me it was a survey for my community.  When asked "which community would that be?" he responded with "I am not allowed to give you that information."  I asked him why he thought the community I lived in was a secret?  "Is my local government paying for this survey?"  He hung up.  Why is this company allowed to continue bothering people?

Got a call from this number, but the weird thing is that this is my cell phone number which I have had for years (a decade or more) and NEVER give out (I'm old school and still have a landline...only friends and family have this number) and I have NEVER received marketing calls of any sort on this number...dunno how they would have gotten my number.

The gentleman said calling from a GE company. I interjected that this is a "Do Not Call" number. Call terminated before I could hang up.

ALl they said was "hello?" a few times in what sounded like muffled broken English female voice and after I loudly asked who it was a few times they hung up. Called me on 2-15-11 6:45pm EST.

Just received a call from this number and they hung up.

Received call from 561-300-8724, called it back and all I got was a "welcome"

How do I block this number?

Just received a call from this number. I was on the phone at the time and didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it. When I called back and I used *67, all it said was "Welcome".

I just got the same phone call about the GE Security System that I had "won". Told the guy to tell me where I lived and what my name was and he said we could get to that later. Then I asked him if that was strange that he was willing to wait. He said it wou be a free security system except for my "dollar a day" fee for the system.

I also received a call from this number telling me that I won a free home security system. Knowing it was a telemarketer I acting like I was so surprised I had won and on the brink of tears that nothing like this every happens to me. I started to tell him about my new dog and how much I needed it. I even asked him when can they come install.

He just kept saying ma'am then hung up. I thought it was hilarious. I actually felt bad that making these calls are his way of making a living.

that is too funny. I usually just ask them to hang on and set the phone down - will try this next time.

Can You Please STOP these calls?

The caller told me he was from GE and said that I was eligible for a free wireless security system. All I had to do was verify that I was the home owner. I said yes. Then someone else got on the line, calling himself Glenn Johnson. Both gentlemen clearly had accents, and spoke very poor English.

They called and it rang and rang. They didn't leave a message.  The caller id said it was Boca Raton Florida. I called back but all I heard was a phone message saying Hello over and over.

I keep getting calls from man with foreign voice saying "This is not a sales call, but  only a survey...Do you have smoke detectors in your house?"  I probably got about 6-7 calls within the last 6-7 weeks.  I never give them an answer, and I asked them to take me off their call lists.  So I started writing down the numbers the last two times - 561-300-8724 was on 1/25/11 and today on my caller ID, it said TSS Inc. 978-570-2411.  I think it was the same guy's voice using this other number.  I told him I'd had enough and had his number and was now reporting him and hung up !  I'm sick of this and am searching the web for ways to make him stop and PAY !!!!!

Got a call from (561)300-8724.  The guy says his name is Frank and he is from Security Networks.  I said thank you, have a nice evening and hung up.

Received a call from this number. Heavy-accented caller refers to himself  as "Jordan". I played stupid, as if I didn't quite understand the nature of his call. "Jordan" works for "Security Network" on behalf of GE, yes, that's it, General Electric, and he was congratulating me on winning a free promotion from GE. If I was the home owner. You are the home owner, yes? What was that, Jordan, what did I win again? You have won a free promotion from GE, if you are the home owner, am I speaking to the home owner? Sorry, Jordan, you said you worked for who? Oh! GE, I'm sorry, I didn't realize...That is ok, sir, as long as you are the home owner you will (pronounced VILL. Not will, but VILL in the heaviest East-Indian accent you can picture and so garbled as to be pretty much unintelligible) you vill still qvalify for thes promotion. Are you the home owner, sir? Does anyone in America conduct legitimate business by cold calling numbers registered federally as "Do Not Call" ? Don't answer their questions.
