B S bill collector misrepresenting Google.

Called me early this morning. I was upset. The fool said the would come stab me in the throat. Im not worried about that cause i have lots of guns but still this is bs.

I just got the call from this number and after answering, they just hung up on me.  Nothing was said.

Called and asked for the owner told them I was one of them.

called my business cell..no message left...I had already blocked the number.

Chased this one down:  It's a scam that tries to get gullible businesspeople to pay them for a service Google will provide for free.  Nice, eh?

Called and no one said anything, Dead silence.

Automated recording regarding contacting small business owner regarding Google Places.  Definitely a phone spammer.

Tired of weekly phone calls from Google specialist, hahaha I want someone to do something about these annoying calls.

These idiots called our business today at 1258 hours with the usual Google-based scam.  An illegal pre-recorded message, calling themselves "Google Places," warning us that our business website has not yet been claimed and so on and so forth.  That's funny seeing our business doesn't even have a website.  Very likely a spoofed phone number to make it harder for the FCC to track them down.  Gave the option of speaking with a live "Google Places representative" or "Press 2 to be removed from the list."  The same scam over and over and over again, wasting my time and patience.  The heck with fines.  I say we string them up by their toes and subject them to listening to their own recording at a very loud volume until they can't take it any more.

Company pretending to be related to Google Places - aka a scam. They are NOT with Google. There is no action from this particular phone call that you need to take. They're language is intended to scare you into taking action and giving them money.

Scammers.

Called it back. 2 to have my number removed or 1 to speak to a live agent.  2 sent me back to the same message. 1 gave a fast busy signal.  Just ignore it when it calls.  That's what I do to almost all unfamiliar caller IDs
