These calls are the same as door to door sollicitation and are an invasionn of my privacy. I wish the goverments would do something so that we are not constatntly disturbed by these calls.

The "National do not call list" has been around a long time. What do they do, besides provide a place to put our numbers. I have never heard of company being fined form calling numbers that are listed on the DNC list. I have reported number to them in the past. the numbers I have reported have had 100's of complaints against them and still nothing is done. The NDNC list is just a big bucket that gets no attention

Just got a call from this number at 10:30am on a saturday morning. I dont answer calls from numbers I dont recongnize, especially if they;re long distance.

Got a call from 5714311960 - Maritz Research.  Supposedly located in Eugene, Oregon.  How can these calls be stopped?

The caller is MARITZ RESEARCH, claiming to be calling on behalf of Bank of America. Then they will try and tell ya, "for quality purposes this call is being recorded."  Purpose of call is to get you to verify account data and the services you receive.   DO NOT FALL FOR THIS  TRAP!!!!!  What I did last week was tell them I am not interested and please do not call again.  The dumb [***] called again 20 minutes ago, so l released my AIRHORN on the idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN, or I will release another beast of Air!

If everyone would procure an AIR HORN, and patiently wait for the golden opportunity to release the beaast of air......I suspect some of these Telemarketeers would reduce these harrassing phone calls...at least aliitle.
Worst affender I've had to date is political fund raising, f**king HERBALIFE home business, and some BS collection agency  from Oregon looking for someone who had the telephone number before.

Mine was from Bank of America.  I have an account but just hung up anyway.

The home health care company who owns that number I'm sure appreciates it.

Unwanted. called 3 times in 4  days. wanted to verify our satisfaction with their service on long distance  calls.
Don't know them and don't want their calls.

i cant take these calls every day if i could id scream at them im just about ready to give up my phonenumber i have had fo 50 years no wonder people are shooting people its way out of hand why dont thay obama all he wants to do is spend are money om stupied things

We are on the do not call registry.  Should not be receiving calls from this company.

They just called me and got an airhorn blast - will not be hearing from them again. If you want to stop these calls (or at least reduce them) you should go to WalMart and get a $20 air horn and blast that thing in the receiver when ever a telemarketer, survey taker, bill collector, etc calls. Want to hear something funny? Listen to their reaction.

I got a call saying she was from Capital One wanting to ask me about my recent phone call in to customer service...I couldn't remember calling them at all and the only thing related is I just changed my address online.  She didn't seem at all concerned that I, the only car holder, had not made any calls in to Capital One and then ended the call promptly. Can only imagine all she cared about was my "satisfaction", not whether I made the call in the first place...
