2. How many owners has it had and are there maintenance records of when they drove it?
3. Do you know of anything else wrong with it (cosmetically, mechanically, or otherwise) besides what you said in the listing?
4.When was the last emissions test (we're required to get that up here if we buy it)?
5.What brand(s) of oil have you used in it?
6.Does it have a clear title?
I anticipate that I'll have a Bank Certified Check issued out to you from my bank.I'm in no rush with you till fund's are cleared in your bank which takes only a day or two to clear at your bank. You do not have to bother yourself about the pick up.  I'll instruct a Shipping Co Agent to come for pick up at your door,when you must have gotten your cash at hand. Kindly e-mail me back with your physical address such as Name,Address (NOT P.o.box) City, State, Zip-code, Phone Number.I will be sending the payment via Overnight FedEx Express Mail Delivery or UPS Air Saver  .You can proceed to take off the ad on craigslist because I don't want any other interruption by another buyer, so get back to me with your full name and address with your phone number to mail out the check to you.

the price and the condition posted on Craigslist. I'm ready to make
instant purchase. i will be paying via US Certified Cashier Check
where i will arrange for a local pick up as soon as you get the
payment, because that is the only convenient means for me and i
promise everything will go smoothly. I really wish to be there to see
the item but i don't have chance cause I'm a very busy person and i
will like you to send me some pics ok. Concerning the pick up, I will
arrange for it after you receive the payment and it clears. Please get

Then he goes on with an even more sincere bit about this being sincere and hoping it goes smoothly and then gives a bogus phone number with the caveat that the phone isn't working properly so I'll have to leave a message.

And then there was the Oceanographer...Yeah, they've all come at me here. Why is that? Craigslist seems the perfect means to sell an item. I've been able to sell some stuff. But holy moly, it's a jungle out there!

The check was from Wells Fargo Bank, paid by SeaBright insurance Company

Same scam on Craigslist continues with a different verse (same song) from "markglover00@gmail.com"....who for some reason can't spell his own name correctly....

Am okay with the price & condition, my mode of payment will be via a Bank Certified Check drawn on my Bank(Bank Of America), i will handle the shipment via my privateshipping company, they will come for the pickup when the check clears your bank, the check will be mail via USPS in which i will need your full name and address to mail out the check to you,if this is okay by you,you can proceed to delete the advert on craigslist because i don't want any other interruption by another buyer.

I got the same email which first came from the email: tarheellesbian@gmail.com asking if I still had item. didn't pay much attention to the initial email but when I got the second one it seemed fishy. thank you for posting this! I flagged it spam for craigslist and will not be replying again.

hey guys
I just tricked with one of those m* f*

They send me a check with the amount of $2680 and ask me to cash that and pay for versacheck printers and all th expenses even my gas  (too good to be true)
unfortunately, I deposited that check into my account but no money were transferred and bank of America freeze my account and when I contact with them they told me that your account will be closed forever
