Another one of the spoofed numbers used by the "card services" scammers in their efforts to rip us off. Google my name to learn how to stop their annoying calls, while also having some fun!

Ooma is an excellent home phone option if you have high speed internet; it's dirt cheap to make calls with and their call block is included with the Ooma Premium package works quite well if you don't mind paying $10 more a month. In my case I bought a set of Panasonic wireless phones for all the great features including 250 number call block since I was in the market for new phones and it was on sale. (Another nice feature is blocking the ringer during certain times so you don't get called while sleeping). There are a number of solutions to block calls however, with all the clowns making these illegal nuisance calls  I  would not get anything that couldn't block at least 250 numbers. Many of these calls are made by bots that call numbers in sequence so changing your phone number probably won't help. Also many of these calls use faked caller ID/phone number so good luck reporting them to the "Do Not Call List". We used to get up to a call every five minutes, now it's more like two or three a day (no message left:block 'em). It's rare to get these calls on my cell; my solution is to save the number in "contacts" and give it a caller ID of DO NOT ANSWER, when that comes up on the display for a call I silence (ignore) the call and go back to blessed silence.
