1-600-233-1234...called me at 6:21 Atlantic Canada time; I'm going to log every time I receive a call form this #; just to see how persistent they are.
This is the 1st time,and they hung up without saying anything; I think this happens because they have mutiple #'s being phoned at once. They can only deal with one contact at a time;
I'm curious as to how can people keep scamming when there is so much ""Be Aware"" info out there.
Please remember..""If it sounds too good to be true"".. it likely is.
And if you didn't initiate the call; ""Never give any personal info (ie, Credit #'s or account #'s over the phone""!!!!

received a call from 600-233-1234 and got only recorded music when I answered

Receiving numerous calls from this #. Only getting music or nonsense message.

Just give them the a fake credit card number and convince them your name is Joe Biden or any other top us government official. Trust me, the little black vans will track them down within 25 hours when they try to run the credit card.

Answered it and they said it was Dell computers and I owed them money.
Laughed at them and told them to stuff it.

UNBELIEVABLE  RUDE [***] calls my phone  demanding I tell him my name, he had an accent (maybe Spanish) Very Rude demanding that I listen to him and what he has to say, wouldn't  take no for an answer, I hung up he called me back but this time from and "private number" swore at me and was extremly rude, I hung up again he called again with the number showing this time and continued to be aggressive arrogant and rude..

They don't respond to answer!

Got a call from that canada number I am wondering has anyone else here bought something online with your visa card lately.  Because I just did on monday 10/18/10 and I got my first call 10/20/10. So I wonder if it has to do with them getting your sales info from a website you may have purchased through I bought something from the hope depot.  Just seems weird this is my first online purchase and I get a call from canada from who knows who and it is tied to a visa question.

when i called the phone co. they said these nos are from North America but call can be coming anywhere from Asia to Europe!   They further said that it will not be possible to block these nos as it is possible that the calls are made from different computers.  this is very very frustrating and not sure what to do about it!

I just started receiving this call on my office line at work....music the first few times.  After that I looked it up on here and decided just not to answer and let it go to vm.  Have stopped receving them now....so far!

Just received a call from this number today and they claimed they were from Microsoft and that they needed me to delete some files from my computer as they keep receiving an error message.  I asked them to give me microsofts contact information so I can confirm who they are..fancy that, they don't have a number.  I hung up on them, and haven't heard back.  TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!!!!!! beware!!!!!  Please continue to post about this number as I don't want them to get anybody's money these [***]!!!

Foreign guy told me he was calling from Microsoft.  Ya right do you think I was born yesterday?  He told me that my computer has been receiving virus' since Friday.  Ummm okay.  I tore a strip off that idiot like no one's business.  He wanted to know why I was so upset.  Ummm let me think you idiot.  Wow where do these people get off?

Received call from this number, answered the phone. Man came on the line, verified my last name and then hung up on me. Creepy!

Blocked the phone number

Same thing at my place. They wanted all kinds of information and when I said my son was a Microsoft Specialist they started back pedalling. I asked for a number to call them back at as well and was given some bogus one that is NOT an 800 number. If they were legit they would have that at least.

So far have had 2 calls from this #.  The same "Indian" sounding guy claiming his name is "Jones" or "Mr. Jones'...somehting like that.  He stated on first call that he is calling from the "Technical solutions department", but not from a specific company & that my computer is sending a virus & that they need to fix, with my help of course, over the phone if they take over my computer etc...  I did a reverse search on this # and stumbled across this site. Second time he called I got really angry with him & told him I am on the DO NOT CALL list & that he'd better not call again!  The nerve of these people!!!

Newest scam is same Indian or Pakistani accent saying they are from Microsoft tech support.  Tried to get me to open my security settings because he says they have been receiving numerous error reports from my pc. Immediately called Microsoft and was told they have nothing on file for my pc. Was also told that they donot call you for error reports unless you have filed a report with them and been given a file number.

I have also been receiving many calls a day (when I'm not there) and one when into voice mail - the message was "Christ is coming" from a foreign woman who sounded much like Christ wasn't part of their belief system.  Whispering voices in the background.  They call every day.  I now put my phone right into voice mail for a 24-hour period.  After multiple calls, they have only left that one silly message.  If Christ is coming, I sure hope he can clean windows and vacuum floors!

Just got a call from this number telling me my computer is infected with viruses and they are calling from Microsoft to help me keep my computer safe...
lol sry had to laugh he just sounded so fake!
I told him to put it in a letter as I don't have time to listen atm and hung up!
