I keep getting calls from this number: 603-414-1911. My caller I.D. says "IC Systems", whatever that is. They never leave a message. But do call several times a day. I'm sick of it. I have put my number on the national do not call list, but to no avail.

They should realize that attitude our a casper act is not going to get people to pay up. I mean most people would pay if the could. Ill tell you what IC SYSTEMS if you pay the 725 per month I pay for child support, and the 409 power month I pay for...  Get this.....medical coverage, I will be glad to pay. The 150 per week I have left just dont stretch far enough to reach you. Forgive me.

A person called from 603-414-1911 who would only give the name of the business called IC System and refused to give the address of their business and then attempted to get personal information form me regarding name and address.  Informed the person that if they could not give the address of their business the call would be reported as an attempt to steal identity.  Be warned of anyone calling and identifying themselves as a "debt collector" from IC System.  This is a scam and an attempt to steel your identity.

They call me daily, even Sunday morning early. The best thing you can do is not answer the phone.  They will eventually go away. Don't ever talk to them as anything you say will be twisted and/or used against you.

This is IC System, who is a scavenger debt collector. Changes are they are trying to collect a debt that has been written off years ago. Collection agencies that buy up old written off debt are termed "scavenger debt collectors" because they feed on the cardus of old debt. The debt they are trying to collect may have been paid off already, out of the statute of limitations or even someone else's debt that gave them your phone number.

Do not answer these calls. If at all possible and they are calling your cell phone, simply contact your cell phone carrier to see if there is a way to block their calls completely, because the will NEVER STOP CALLING!!!!!!!!!

I know this because I am an IT professional whom works in the Collection Debt business.

This is a collection agency.  When they call you for the first time tell them you are not the person they are looking for and you have no idea who the person is and to STOP calling your number.  If they believe you are not the person they will take you out of their database.

NEVER call this number or they will use Caller ID to confirm who you are or the name of your employer if you return the call from work,

Smae here everyone, except I get 5 - 15 calls a day that are a barely 2 sec ring & then hangs up, never leaves a message. What's really annoying is that I am making monthly pymts & I'm still being harrassed. From the 603, 703, and I believe a 203 or 208 area code.

no medical debts whatsoever here, however...

one of my friends has some 100k (for none of her fault, just the usual greedy employer not giving benefits and no affordable ins available)

I suspect this may be slander, so next time I will answer and have the 'record my call' app on.

    For all of you:

    last time I looked:

calling a mob phone using a bot without the intention of engaging a conversation was an FCC violation

calling a private phone for harassment (i.e. after being told don't call here any more, even if from a different number, even if through a (different ) outsourced call center was an FCC violation

FCC fee based complaints are $150 (don't waste everyone's time for a free one, that goes nowhere) last time I looked, they ask a fee, the fee based ones bite, get the money back from the offender in small claims, that's really expensive and disruptive for them and puts them on paper for others, then find others, make a class, take them out.

good collection agencies work with you
efficient collection agencies work with the debtor

sharks who buy a claim for pennies on the $ need to make it worth their investment (and will 'generously' half you debt, LOL)

collection agencies who do this kind of calls do also defraud their customer: they don't have any resources available to actually call you, they just ring a phone short so it won't even go to VM (no connection charge on their side), and bill the client then for a call (minimum time, etc.) which is logged in their system and won't show in their telco summary bill.
    • Caller: 603 414 1911, too few rings to engage VM, couyple of times a day

    and do not forget:

doing the #whatever thing only takes caller ID out for private end users

businesses with their own pbx still get the info, it is always sent, but masked!

so call from a pay phone if you think you need to call them back (or ask someone who you really don't like to use her cell.....  ;-D  )

they do probably have a debt, maybe from the previous owner of your number

they might bill the creditor (their client) per call, a call which they make in a way that they don't need to spend any resources (too short for VM to kick in and start a connection, hang up if answered, make sure no real business is done by following certain methods or hang up)

they very probably do defraud their clients

the calls will very probably go on even if you have a payment arrangement just so they can continue to bill their client

fraudsters both ways, to the creditor and to the debtor
