Called my phone today.  Left a message saying "this is a service verifications, we will call you back".  Caller ID said "VAF".

Called my unlisted cell, no message.  Area code/number is unknown to me.

Call came in yesterday from the number to my home phone. No message. CallerID shows VAF. Never has seen this number and ID is unknown to me.

Call came in today around 11 PST. No message. Second such call.

It is the LA Times.

Called.  Got a message with a verification number but no real person.  ????   or ?????  Any insight?

Got a call. Didn't leave any voice mail.

I have been getting at least one call a day from them for at least two weeks now.

Got 2 calls per day. One in the AM & one in PM.  Called the number which answered "you have reached customer service.  if  you desire to have your number removed, please enter it and verify.  If you do not verify the number it will not be removed"  After I did that, the recording stated the number would be removed with two business days.  Hope it'll work!

Has called about 8 times in the last 4 days-hang ups all but once...asked husband if he wanted to subscribe to the times!

They called my unpublished number.  They said they wanted to verify personal information for the Star Tribune Express Minneapolis newspaper.

says South Dakotah ID, previous post suggested it was LA times?1st call today.

Calls my cell phone 3-4 times a week. Does not leave message and I do not answer.

They called me tonight.  I called back, entered my number, and confirmed it.  They say it will be removed within 48 hours...we'll see.

Called my cell phone several times over the past few days. I do not answer calls from a number that I  do not recognize. Thanks to those who posted before me.

I get several calls from this number every single day. It is an automated voice caller though, so I can't tell them to STOP CALLING ME. The Caller ID says "Pierre" and the number is from South Dakota. I am getting really irritated with having my phone ring several times a day with this number, and then having to go through my voicemail 6 times a day just to delete the damn messages. I don't even listen to them anymore. I just want them to stop calling my number.

Im sick and tired with this f*ing number. STOP CALLING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
