Has called several times. No message left. Called ID shows and announces name.  Never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize the name and/or the phone number with the area code.

I  just got a call from this number, 10am.  I am in Toronto.  The recorded message when I answered siad, "This is a service verification call, we will call you back."  I dialed the number back and let it ring.  Finally after about 2 minutes of ringing, a recorded message came on asking if I would like my number to be removed to enter it and then confirm it.  That if I didn't confirm it, it would not be removed from their list.  I didn't, in case it was just a means of verifying my number.  I really just was hoping to find out what company it was that I could expect to hear from later.  I had recently had issues with my water heater replacement and thought maybe they were confirming a follow-up service call or something.

So annoying.

"Earthly calamantis"?  What's a calamantis? A hybrid of a calamari and a mantis?  Sounds like something in a '50s SF movie!

My mother has been getting calls from them. It is really upsetting her. It's nice to know she can just ignore it.

Received call on 11/16/11 from female asking to subscribe to El Paso Times in El Paso TX. Since I recently stop receiving my paper and failed to look at the caller ID first, I shared personal information with the caller. Now I regret it. I hope they do not use it to steal my identity?

Phoned me in Toronto Canada on Nov 30 bugging me about Toronto Star subscription. I hung up.

I got the call from 605 301 7223 AND I am in Canada, SO its NOT LA TIMES! If u see this number on call display DO NOT answer. If u see this and have block number ability on ur phone, do it. To block, program number in on phone caller list then choose block caller in options.

calls come every day saying call from customer service will try again later. who and why ???????

Received a call this morning, no message...woke me up, grrrr!!!

I have read through the entire posts regarding this number and have experienced the same circumstances.

I would like to know if those who have called back and entered their number to be removed from their call list were successful in stopping the daily phone calls, or did it inspire an onslaught of other telemarketers whom apparently they sold it to once they verified your number.

The answer to this will help me decide whether or not to input my number.

I have this number blocked but I still get about half a ring before the phone system blocks it. This morning they called 4 times, once with only about 15 minutes between calls. This whole thing is really goofey. It must be a computer calling generated telephone numbers, or numbers from a range table, but you would think that the programming would not be designed so that if they tried and failed they would try again in just 15 minutes. It is annoying, but when I get the call and see it blocked I have to smile and say to myself "gotcha again. Call your heart out! FYI I am located in New Mexico.

My business phone is on FB. That's how they get your numbers. Quit giving out your phone numbers!!
