Called several times (including today) in the past few weeks; will not answer unknown numbers.

I am on the Do Not Call List, but that does not seem to interest these people - got my first call from them Saturday at 09:02 AM (I was still asleep, so I answered the phone without looking at the number). It was "not a sales call" from the MSP Star Tribune - told the lady I am not interested, and to remove me. I now have two missed calls a day from that number!

Keep getting calls from this number. They don't leave any messages. I live in CA, so if they are trying to sell me a SD newspaper, they are out of luck.Would be interesting to see if they would deliver to me.

My theory:  They call random numbers with an auto-dialer, and if you answer, it flags the number for future sales pitches... That is the "verification" recording we have been hearing... Bet if you don't call back and remove your number, they will follow up with a live sales call...

They say they will remove your number "within 2 business days"... what do bet I get a sales call followup BEFORE that 2 day limit kicks in? F***ing scammers... Next call is to the SD Attorney General...

I get several calls from this number as well.  The phone they are calling is for business, not personal.  My phone number was set up by my company.  It is unacceptable that I should be getting solicitation calls on a business line.  This needs to be stopped.

I have gotten the same call as described by others on my answering machine. There have been five calls in four days.

Called morning of May 5th. "Service verification call." Whatever that is.
Calls like this are annoying and will only lead to further outcry and hopefully more government regulation of the telemarketing industry!!!

Keep getting a call from this number with ID of VAF.  Do not answer as I will not answer a call not recognized.

They asked if this was the ********** family residence?  I said "No, you have the wrong #.  They said, "You're not in (that city)?  I said "No."  They said "Sorry" and hung up.  I have 3 unlisted numbers with Qwest.  They called me on 2 of those "Unlisted/Unpublished" numbers twice in the last 10 days!  ID says they are from VAF and their # is 605-301-7223

When I called Qwest and asked them how my unpublished numbers are getting out?  They said there is technology that still can get my unlisted number and also said paying them, Qwest, to have my # unpublished really is for their company and can not stop other companies from having info on that number.  I asked then what's the purpose of paying for an unlisted # then?  He, Qwest agent, said because it helps keep # private from "most" people.(but not all, like VAF)

Keeps calling!  Says its a service call

First call at 9:31am on Wednesday, May 18th. "Service verification call". I read the LA Times online but have never given them my #.

I got a msg also. I just delete them...
