The woman, Cynthia Thomas, indicated that the company I worked for had an outstanding invoice and my name was attached.  If I did not use a corporate credit card or cut a check today, she would attach this to my personal credit history.

Kathy Rema continuously calls our business and has threatened to send us to "collections" for an unpaid invoice for a publication we did not even authorize! They will not provide their address or supervisor. RED FLAG!!!!

This is a LONG running scam - by long, I mean well over 20 years - if you work in any way shape or form in finance, admin, and the such, you will likely be hit by them.  They send out junkmail, which, somewhere in the fine print, MAY say that if you don't send something back, you've ordered some crappy newsletter (which never actually materializes).

LONG RUNNING scam.  As time consuming as it may be, I advise everyone to file a complaint the NYS Atty Gen's office, as well as that of your home state.

Called 5 times asking for the CEO of the company that I work for.  Made me page HR and CEO telling me that we are going into collections.  Her name is Cynthia Thomas  and, It is a scam.

Chris Bennett, some unprofessional and rude collections representative calls to collect fees for non existing services from scammers sending free samples and enrolling you into automatic subscription. This person is highly unprofessional and for sure is a scammer working together with companies like Progressive Business Publications. I found thousands of complaints and it looks like this business is at least 10 years old and this scam practice is exactly what they are doing to make a living. Do not pay them anything, I reported everything to Office of Attorney General and called PBP to get the recording where they scammed me into that "subscription". They told me there are no fees due and they canceled my account and will inform Chris Bennett not to proceed with collections. I will report this scam to all possible agencies and will make sure they get what they deserve.

I have had numerous calls from the International Credit Recovery place. They are claiming a past employee ordered this service but they can't provide me with anything showing where he ordered it. They have been harassing me for over 6 months now. I have told them repeatedly that I will not be paying this bill but they consistently call me anyway

Looks like another criminal enterprise located in Western New York.  BBB says that they are not licensed and that there is a pattern to the complaints.  You should be dealing with them via certified, return receipt mail.
