Got a call from  Amanda Sprague saying we owed for a publication from back in 2011 and original collection efforts were started in 2012.  They planted these seeds a long time ago and are now trying to reap them.  We never agreed to pay for a subscription....especially at $299 for printed materials?  Who sends printed updates?  
Total scam....just waiting for staff turnover and some new hire to pay an outstanding bill.  Too bad, she sounded so cute and nice.

That's funny because we supposedly signed up for a paid construction subscription. I've gotten emails from the company she referenced and had opted out of those too, but we've never received a bill because we don't sign up for anything paid, there are enough free construction information newsletters out there. I called the company and they claim the same thing as the collection company and that they use the collection company for unpaid accounts. We've never received a bill or signed up for anything, but it sounds like the two companies are doing a lot of work together.

call our office and ask to speak with the Office Manager our the Pratice Manager state I authorization a coding and billing book in 02/23/2014 a Sunday , where not even open said she had phone records and sent bill, but where are the books ?
Scam be aware all business report ASAP

They are harassing me about a publication I did not subscribe and saying I owe personally.  They are very harassing.

How do you get these people to stop??

Katie Dotman has contacted my TWICE. She claims we ordered a publication that we never received. She was very rude both times. She claims she will send an 'invoice' but that she doesn't use email... How do I get these people off of my back?!

Amanda keeps calling asking for a co-worker saying there is a claim against the company with this co-worker's name on it.  When I asked for more information or supporting documentation she got very nasty with me.  She demanded to speak with only my co-worker or her boss.  I found so many things regarding this phone number.  Beware of these callers!

Bobbi from this company is trying to collect on an invoice that we did not authorize.  

Same as all the above.  Called by Michelle Decker  607-748-4686.  Put a complaint into FTC and to the BBB.  

I received the call from Michelle Decker as well 607-748-4686. Stated I joined a subscription to Keeping up to date on Payroll from Progressive Business Publications. I repeatedly told PBP I had no way of making business related agreements since I do not over see the accounting dept. I agreed to 2 free newsletters but never said yes to a subscription which our phone conversation will attest to. There's a "Negative option arrangement" going on in this company and its illegal! They sent two newsletters which I never got and repeatedly emailed which I thought was interesting since I don't have a sign on name or password to get on to the website. Everytime I tried to reset the password I'd enter my email but never got anything in return. Michelle is now saying had I "not" received the newsletters they would have been returned to PBP but they show they never got them back. Our offices does not accept junk mail and this is considered junk so it was more then likely shredded. I have emailed the PBP and faxed over a cancellation to this company regarding this fraudulent subscription and I plan of going straight to BBB and FTC to report them. I will not be held accountable for something I did not sign up for.

They said I owed $299 for publications I have never seen. Then they were going to reduce it to $130 to cancel. Wanted my credit card information or for me to overnight a check. I asked them to fax me something. When I received it, I looked up their information on the internet and discovered it was a scam. Told them I was going to call my lawyer.....she offered to call my lawyer for me.....yeah, right! Don't think so!!!

i have been receiving phone calls from an Amanda at this number. She has been harassing me for a few months now regarding an unpaid subscription for 299. She said she could get it lowered for me, I just needed to pay that day. Today she called today, yelling at me That I hadn't paid, and I hung up on her today after she called for the fourth time. She managed to get ahold of my personal cell now and left me a voicemail threatening to bring this to the attention of my boss. I have seriously been annoyed and don't have time for their bs.

I just got a telephone call from someone claiming to be an attorney for this and stating it would go against our company's credit for not paying.  I have tried to cancel and cancel and cancel their emails and invoices and it goes unnoticied.  Now I'm getting legal action against me and the company I work for> I'm glad I checked into this number for I see many of you are going through some sort of troubles with teh same company.  I asked for an email and wasn't given one.

Same complaint as previously on this site, bill of $299 for some subscription that was never ordered. I called back and told this Katie Daltman 6077484686 to send the recording of the confirmation send a transcript and she said have Mark(my boss) contact her. She said she wasnt going to argue with me and I stated I would not be paying the bill and hung up. Let her call back.. not good policy.
