They just called me. I'm still a student here and they asked me donate. I told them that I was still attending the school and paying them right now. The girl said, "so... is that a no?" I laughed out loud.

Actually, they are not only calling alums -- my only connection is that I had a dog treated at the vet school last summer.

As a graduate of THE Ohio State University (BA in economics, I can tell you that they are well funded through their contacts with the Military/Industrial complex. Hell, even my Portuguese professor was doing research for the CIA/DOD. During my tenure in the 80s, Batelle Institute was the largest depository of nerve gas east of the Mississippi.

I am NOT an alumni of OSU. I have however used the OSU hospital for my dog.  So they're not just calling alumni and I did not do anything to warrant them reaching out to me.

Soliciting donation to Ohio State Universtiy. When I told the caller i don't care about it, she told me I was an ignorant idiot and to f--k off!!!

I'd bet this is a scam.

Calling on a Sunday night is a sure sign of a scam. This number ios now call-blocked!!

Some kid called asking for money to help him pay his way through croupier classes at something called Hondros (?) College. I hung up.

I'm not an OSU alum. Everyone in our family went to THE Ohio University.

And, I don't give information or money to unsolicited callers.

My husband is presently dying..they have called  and called  again. I doubt if these are OSU students..this is a boiler shop. Sick to death of the calls every nite. He paid the tuition.l We are OVER this substandard school. We have real bills to pay. SCREW OSU...

No, I know it's not this site.  However, I told them on the phone to add me to the do not call list.  They claimed they will honor requests, but here we are, they're still calling.  :-/

I see... Keep in mind that we get a lot of comments like that. It DOES get hard to tell who is getting blamed in them. Apologies.
