I started receiving calls from this number June 13th.  To date, I've received 13 calls on my cell and just today 2 on my work number.  THis is frustrating to me.  Mine is associated to a mastercard I have.  Guess what... I'm cancelling the card.  This would definitely make sense if I was not making payments.  I am paying within 1-2 weeks of the due date.  This last time, I sent a partial payment prior to the due date with the balance a week late.  You'd think they have bigger fish to fry, huh?!

1-614-729-6083 just called my cell..my phone automatically rejected it..........thought it was funny so I looked it up....wow...........who is world financial anyway????...i get mail from them too!!!....pesky rascals!!!....scams and more scams with the banking...credit card industry......just when they make new rules....they make new games too!!!!grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....sigh..........

Just received a call from this number.  The man asked if Lauren was home (he also used my last name), when I said "this is she" he hung up.  I know I don't have any outstanding debts and we pay our credit card off in full each month so I'm not sure what they could be calling for.

called, asked for my dead mother in law.  told them she was dead.  she hung up.  called back, and they said world financial bank, or whatever.  this was at 9am Saturday.

I received a call from World Financial Bank about a bank loan. I told the lady on the phone that I do not have account with the World Financial Bank and never borrow any money from this company. The lady told me I would have to pay it anyway. I told the lady on the phone that I was getting a lawyer because I am not anything and never heard of their company. This company calls me after 8:00Pm and most days two till three times per day.

I've been getting a number of telemarketing and scammer calls on my cell in the past two weeks.  I just got a call from this one and thought it was another one of those.
After seeing all the messages on the board I realized this one is actually legit (as I've dealt with them in the past).  Something was messed up with my payment to one of my credit cards, and World Financial Bank is the "collector" for Mastercards - it was a department store/mastercard I own that the payment didn't go through and they were calling to inquire and collect.
Double check your credit cards, if you own a Mastercard of any kind and may have missed a payment, this number is legit.   If you don't want to pay on the phone, you can always ask "what card is this about" - they should tell you, and then you can log into your account online, verify and if needbe, pay online.

If you get a call from this number and don't pick up, you still might want to check your credit card statements/payments.

Received call at 8:20am PST.  World Financial Bank for Crate and Barrell credit card.  Past due, collections.

These people have called me four times today!!! The funny thing is that they keep calling even after being told the person they are trying to reach is not at this number. I reported them on the national do not call website. Hopefully this will help!!

This is COMMENITY BANK calling.

I have a credit card issued with WFb which is now Comenity..
I am late with a payment and these harassing callers have been calling me I bet 20 times a day starting at 8AM till just minutes before 9 PM. I have them on my machine where they have called in ten minutes three times.  I will pick up next time and tell them not to call me anymore as I will consider it harassment and any future contact needs to be with USPS mail.. Let us see if I can rack up violations.. :)

Received 2 calls from this number that I did not answer. I do not pick up if I don't know the phone numbers.  I am on the do not call list and not certain why they are calling me.  After reading everyones comments, I will still not answer.  If it is for some type of collections, do not call and harrass good people, If you have a phone number, they also have an address, sent something out to collect that debt. Do not make harrassing call.

This number has called my cell phone 4 times in last 2 days. I won't pick up numbers I don't recognize.

THis is Macy's redirected from overseas to inform you of past due bill.  You can ask for someone without an accent if that helps.

Irritating as can be, aren't they?  Seem that this company also acts as a "collections" company for a very big clothing catalog conglomerate.  I pay my bills online directly, and reps from this number call even after my payment directly to the card issuer has been made. Have been asked repeatedly for personal info - won't give it - and when I asked them to check their most recent records for my payment history they hung up.  I've now blocked the number just so that that robo calls on the hour stop.

Pretty sure this is world financial bank. Calling for over a month every other day 3 times a day between 7am and 12pm. I finally answered after reading the posts here and asked them to remove me from their call list. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and spoke over me demanding I put so and so on the phone. I said again it was harassment to call someone with the steady intensity they had over the past month and that I would report them to the proper authorities. She started to yell at me so I hung up. Good luck getting your money now world financial bank hahaha.
