several calls in a row 5-10 min apart...happens every few days They do not leave message and I do not pick up ! If it was a legitimate call they should leave a message.....very annoying and harrasing .

Unbeknownst to card holders this entity World Financial Bank acquires the catalog company, store, etc and then undertakes to collect the debt. They call a number we never even gave...probably Roaman's. Only way to get rid of them is to pay your bill not just on time but early to allow payments to clear. They start in on the second or third day a bill is late. Check your interest on these cards one of these days as well...they charge up to 30$. This is usury, loansharking, and a few other choice words I could say. You get 'free credit lines' and are so excited that you got "$300" that you fail to understand that you will pay triple if you just make the minimum payments. Get a prepaid card and only spend what you have.

I have no credit card debt or late bills and I had the same call several times the past few weeks on my cell phone.

This number is for Comenity Bank in Ohio. They act as a credit card administrator for MANY retailers. Their favorite tactic is to call frequently at early and late hours. They use a recorded message asking you to hold and my guess is that if no phone jockey is available to pick you up, they hang up and try you again later. If you have an answering machine, they will not leave a message.....they are looking for a human being with whom to speak. TERRIBLE policy and an embarassment for stores they represent. I finally called back and reached a human being and discovered that they wanted to speak to another person in the household. I put the other person on, and we discovered that they were in fact acting as collection agent for a late credit card payment. The retailer is J Jill, the "other party" in my home will never shop there again after many years as customer. J Jill is going to hear about this as well. Have had at least 15 calls without an answer or message. Hope this helps somebody. They are a nasty bunch.

Have gotten numerous calls from this number

Got a recorded call this evening saying that this call is not soliciting anything, then hold on while the call was being transferred to possibly a live person. Did not listen to rest of call and hung up.

Seven calls, on Dec 27, 28 and 30.

First call, they left no message.  After seeing the reports here, I blocked
the number (and the name, COMENITY).  So the six other calls didn't
get through.

For what it's worth, we have no unpaid loans/credit cards, and no
oddball-brand credit cards.

Caller wanted my credit card information to lower my interest rate! I hung up!

Callers are BIG credit card scammers!!

"Mister Postal" from Comenity.  [***]. His last four digits of his SSN are 5371.  He resides in Ohio and works for Comenity.

Got a call from this number this morning just after 8AM. Did not answer it as the number was not known to me. I rejected the call. I just searched it and found this page.

I noticed when I got home from work they must have called about 10 times. And left a garbled message. I admit I missed a payment. First time I ever did. I set up the payment and had my home number removed from the acct. it was the weekend and the payment will only post today. The bill was only 5 days late.  I started to get the calls on my cell. I refuse to answer and they don't leave a message. I called the  800 number spoke to someone who sees the payment and told what my next bill was.  I don't get it.

I have this # on my block list, but i still get calls throughout the day.
