You obviously work for this group or others like it. That's the only reason you defend them.. The sad part is that while you are so busy making them look like the bad guy in the end they will not hesitate to walk you right out the door.  Check your loyalty and a company should be the last on your list

Has anybody been able to reach a pay off agreement with Rent Debt Automated in which they agreed to delete the collection from your credit report in return for payment of all or part of the debt?

I have checked her credit report and nothing is shown.  So who are they and what do they want?

Received a call from Mr. Zuko wanting contact information for my Daughter. Would not tell me why he wanted that information. Did say he was from RDAC. My daught has been in college since she left home. Has not rented or borrowed. Exept student loans which are defferred. These people are crooks.
Needless to say, I did not give my daughters information.

Also, all of you that are defending RDAC, don't assume everyone is guilty of skipping out on debt just because you are.  Received call from # 615-690-1686.

I received a call yesterday from Dana and her voice mail said she was trying to contact me for contact information. You have my cell number...so don't you have contact info.

Being registered with the BBB means nothing. The BBB charges a fee for a company to be "registered". By paying this fee, you can get a higher grade. There are many companies that are not accredited with the BBB- Walt Disney, Publix, Staples, Comcast, T-Mobile, Chase, Ford Motor, Navy Federal, USAA; just to name a few. Your argument is invalid.

I am not going to defend any collection company. Most are A holes.
But I just got done paying them for a debt at a place I lived in last year. After I talked with the apartment first!
Mr. Zuko was very nice on the phone even sent me a pay for delete letter to remove from my credit report.
one thing i will not do anymore is leave an apartment without doing a walk through with management first and getting a final payment in wrighting.

A caller from this company with the same 690 prefix called my place of business and asked to speak to a former customer of mine whom I had done business with for over 20 years... Absolutely ridiculous!...

if you people did not have a debt, then you would not get calls, and if you did your homework you would know this a legit company that does collections on people that do not pay their bills. I know this, because I work there, yes I have a job to pay my bills...hmmm..a job..........just sayin

Recieved a call and I have not lived in any appartments complex.  Also, I have no debit as I have paid Cash for everything.  Call to scared to leave a message.  My guess is that it is some company or idoit attempting to hassle an old man.  If you call and expect me to talk to you leave a message or don't call my number.  I do have the means of tracking you down and sending the feds to make your life ugly

Last time I checked the economy isn't doing so well so some of these people most likely have a good reason and then scum like you and your company try to make them feel like dead beats. Really you and your company are the dead beats, and do your homework you must be licensed in most states and I can tell you right now that your company is NOT licensed in Nebraska. I agree with don't be dumb, anyone that is willing to pay money to be accredited by the BBB will have a good rating, and any company can register with them all you do is call after the company has been open for a year and you get a file. Not very hard to do so I have to say that your argument is invalid, naive and just plain pathetic. You must work for these [***] companies, tell me does it feel to go to sleep at night knowing people hate you and want your soul to burn in hell. Do you even have the guts to tell anyone aside from friends and family what you do for a living, I would say not at you would be hated more than you are at this minute.

They called me and didn't leave a message.  If it is in regards to an apartment I haven't lived in one in 15 years and there isn't anything on my credit regarding owing one.  Seems if it was important they would have left a message.

Considering they called my number and I have lived in my apartment five years and am paid up to date and when I lived in Nashville we paid up before we left and that was five years ago...so obviously they are running a scam on some level.  And before then we owned a house that we sold when my mom retired.  Must be some sort of scam or low-end debt collection

That's bull. I settled with a collection agency over TEN years ago on a cellular billl. I take care of my debts. The company wasnt happy with my legal settlement and to this day . Not only do I, but my parents and friends, receive repeated daily threats and rude phone calls from repeated collectors saying I still owe this bill. It's not fair, I'm not running , and they are repeatedly breaking the law by calling after being told in person and in writing to stop the harrassment. And having legally settled the debt!  And now RDAC is calling me about an apartment I never lived in!  Being in debt is unfortunately part of everyone's lives in the US. In some form. If the middle class weren't being whittled away to being poor by unfair business practices and corporate America not paying liveable wages.. Which college educated people once thought they would be able to earn!!! We can't even pay for health care anymore! Thank god for the ACA! You need to stop getting into other people's business you know nothing about! I believe I should pay all of my bills, but harassing the crap out of my family and friends is not the way to do it. They obviously have no legal case or else they would have sued me! I have received nothing by mail either! Please call the better business bureau repeatedly if you have the same problem I do! Eventually they will leave you alone and send it to the next. For those people " doing their job", follow the law!!! And there is no reason to be rude, lie, or harrass people. To those posting nastiness on this site, mind your own business!

There are some good debt collectors out there but they are calling me and saying I owe something I don't. And harassing my parents! My parent will NEVER be responsible for my debt. It is not their responsibility to pass on messages! They did not incrue the debt!

Ex debt if you are up to date why are you on this.  I got a call from 615-690-1681 same company.  My credit report doesn't have any ex apartment debt on it so why are they calling.
