Didn't recognize the number. I didn't pick up, they didn't leave a message.

Just a heads-up....

Nearly every call that begins with 616-980-XXXX, is from a shady telemarketing outfit in Grand Rapids, MI.  In most cases, you'll hear a prerecorded message trying to trick you into buying a car warranty, a vacation, credit card, mortgages, etc.  The important thing to remember is that prerecorded telemarketing calls that you don't authorize are a violation of federal law.

The next time you see a phone number on your caller ID that begins with 616-980 (and the odds are very good that their autodialer will call you back), answer it and listening to the entire recording. Then hang up and go here -- https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do -- to report the violation to the FCC.

These people called my house at 2:45 AM!!!!!!!!!!! When I picked up the phone, I heard a recording going in the background, with no one answering when I said hello. This is not the first time this number has called, but they've never called in the middle of the night! UGHHHHHHHHHHH. I am reporting them and their autodialer to the FCC. Thank you to the previous poster who listed that link, off to report them now.

called here in CT @ 3:42 am with recording about 9/11.  Reporting to FCC and CT AG's office now.

I got a call from a unknown last week with a rant speech about government corruption.  Today I got the same rant from 616-980-2604.  Don't these idiots realize that their message is voided by this kind of tactic.  As if I wait around all day to get insight into the way the world works from anonymous voices that intrude into my day.  Why they heck would anyone trust anything they say.

Got a political call from 616 980 2604 ranting on and on and on.  What a waste of their time as well as mine - I am a resident alien so can't vote anyway!!!

The phone # 616-980-2604 called my home on 11/6/2007 at 3:45am.  They hung up before I got to the phone.  When I called the number back from my caller id it was a recording asking me to enter my phone number.

I received a call at 01:08 AM from 616-980-2604 and when I answered, it was a recorded message. I live in Quebec, Canada. I called back in the morning and the automated message says "if I want to be removed from the list, I have to dial my phone number, with area code"...

Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one getting these calls. My calls have been at 1:58 am and 6:05 am. The recording they played was of Senator Christopher Dodd during a recent debate, and it was speeded up. I don't think he's behind this, but I reported it.

Mitt Romney campaign hype, but no identification. My voicemail recorder cut it off after 3 minutes. Who knows how long it would have gone on. The caller ID simply shows the supposed city of origin.

Whenever we get campaign robocalls, we contact the local campaign for whoever the candidate is and tell them we won't vote for that person because of the annoying calls.

I had a 3:59 am wake up call from 616-980-2604 D BT SVCS.  No message was left.  Thank you ern for the information on how to report.

Got a political call about relations with South American countries at 2:35 AM from 616-980-2604. What a load of BS.

6:14AM to one of our business cell phones! It was a recorded message (playing in faster speed) of Hillary Clinton.  I like Clinton, but not @ 6AM!!!!!

This is the 2nd instance that caller 616-680-2604 dialed our call center and penetrated through a relatively complex menu to deliver a voice mail. Message content was part of a political speach delivered by some senator, congressman, or candidiate I did not recognize.

Received a call from this number on our automatic voicemail 800 number for work. Starts out with some woman talking about loans and paying for education.

Second time this has happened. I didn't call it back.

called at 8:36p.m. CT couldn't understand person, foreign lauguage.  Just caused an uneasy feeling, when my number is un-listed and I live alone.  I hope they never call back!!  What good is being on the "do not call list" if they can call anyway!

We have gotten multiple phone calls from 616-980-2604 with some type of recording pursuant to politics.  These calls usually come in the wee hours of the morning.  The last one was around 12:55 am cental time.  What can we do to get this stopped?
