wanted money for some anti-oil company B.S.  Refused to remove my name from her call list.
call back just apologizes and hangs up.

Didn't say anything, just hung up when I answered. Reverse phone look up states the number is from Cambridge, Mass.

Whoever that is must be his day for calling people just fo rthe fun of doing so. Phone rang several times before Ianswered,and he or she hung up as soon as I did. Who does things like that? Itisn't anyone I know , as I do not know anyone in Mass.

I have been harassed by whoever it is that has this number for two days now!  Every 20 - 30 minutes, day and night, they keep calling me!  I am on the NM DO NOT CALL LIST and I am REALLY sick of this!

I keep saying hello-hello-hello and no one answers.  Finally, I just stayed on the line and then got the "off the hook" noise screeching in my ear.

NO ONE ever answered.  This company REALLY needs to be shut down and FINED for harassing people!  

All the Caller ID says is Cambridge, MA.

Same story as all the other posts: could not make out what the person was saying since the sound was distorted.

HOW do you get these places closed down!  This is ridiculous!  We DO have laws against this crap but no one enforces them!  WTF!?!??   I am REALLY getting sick of this!  They JUST called again!  Same thing!  No answer.  

I KNOW I am on the DNC list for both my home phone as well as my cell phone.

They will not stop calling!  Just got another call....

No message left, no info on caller ID except the number and "(.)"....whatever that means.

Just got another call from this number, no message when I left it go to VM.

I answered and they hung up. When I look at my call log it shows they called 30 minutes ago. No message left.

Where do we report this kind of stuff?

Keep getting calls from this number with no voice mail. Who is it?

They call but do not respond when I answer.  Sometimes they hang up after two calls and when I answer I get a dial tone.

I AM REALLY GETTING PISSED OFF NOW!  THEY JUST CALLED AGAIN!  INTERRUPTING AN IMPORTANT PHONE CALL WITH THAT CALL WAITING BEEP IN MY PHONE!  WHEN I LOOKED AT THE CALLER ID, THERE THEY WERE AGAIN!!!  They should NOT be allowed to use just their city and state only as an ID!!!  

And...I have Vonage so cannot even block them!  THIS IS JUST SOOO RIDICULOUS!!!

The name of the company, I DID find out online is "Net Research Services" in MA.

This is my 5th call today. I have called the number back and left several obscene messages myself. Yes, they are "Net research services" claiming to be taking a survey where 'our opinion matter's. Well, I gave them my opinion several times....hope they are serious when they say that. I have also filed a complaint with the "National do not call registry". Perhaps we should all do that with every call they make to us. Thanks.

I just filed a complaint.  Maybe if enough people do it, the FCC will actually do something to stop these people.

Holy crap I see all of these are from today.  Well I called it back and got the same Net Research Services.. "if our call disturbs you, we apologize." i wanna kick this guy in the ding dong.  Has anyone actually talked to anyone live, either calling or answering the call?? I'll go to that FCC link and report them. I hate this kinda annoying waste of time.

Just got a call from them also wanting me to fight big oil and vote for clean energy.

I received several of these annoying calls today, right now the phone is ringing again with caller ID "Massachusetts" it is making me very uncomfortable as I am home from work with sciatica and can't even get away from the damn phone. The FCC site says this is called 'Abandoned Calls' ('Silent Calls,' 'Dead Air Calls' from a telemarketer) and 'War Dialing' received on your residential or business telephone
possibly they are looking for fax machines to spam

Caller ID showed (.) I don't know anyone with that name. Proceeding to file report to FTC. I suggest everyone do the same thing. The more reports they get, the better chance of shutting the boneheads down.
