Yesterday at around 7:00 p.m. central this number called my parents' house. The caller I.D. said "cambridge,mass.". My mother said the man sounded young. He asked for me by the name I go by with friends, family,coworkers, and teachers, not my legal first name. I was not there. When asked if he wanted to leave a message he said "its ok, thanks" and hung up. I originally thought it was my good friend at Harvard. After talking to him I found out it wasn't him. He thought it was bizarre. He thinks it could be a Harvard number because 5-#### is a common trait for Harvard phone numbers. He hasn't called back yet.

i once had some [***] call me andIi wouldnt listen to his sales pitch.and i m almost sure he entered my cell number in some kind of machine that calls you every hour , i had to block those numbers. that fix it , there  are some jealous [***] out there ready to try screw up your communications with your buisnesses, [***] these Punks, and you know who you are !

Update:

After calling the number back we discovered it was a telemarketing company. After 5 minutes we got a call from "Washington D.C.". They asked if we had a small dog or a big dog. Then they hung up.

Just got a call from this number and where the name (on caller ID is) was ( . ) a butt...
no message either

getting a call from this phone number 5-6 times a day

I believe this group of callers are aggregating data or id thieves. They call and ask my  name and then say they have the wrong number. Do NOT offer your information
