Received a call from a recorded message stating this was the 5th and final notice from the IRS and legal proceedings were already started.  I was to call 509-428-2147 immediately.

I got a call from this number, ignored it, and a voicemail was left- checked the voicemail, it was my mom calling from her house in Tidewater Virginia.  I called her back on her house line.  Weird.

Called me claiming to be Windows Live Support.  I hung up bc everyone should know better than to fall for this old scam.  They claim you have a virus and try to get your personal info.  Don't answer.

617-714-0762 called -- he had an Indian accent -- about my home computer.  I said i didn't have a home computer and he hung up.

Checked here and - thanks all - see right away this is an active spammer/scammer. But most of the reports I'm seeing are 2014. Well, it's ba-ack, or maybe a commonly used fake number, whatever. Called my do-not-call-listed number. Blocked.

These [***] calling nonstop all day after I tell them not to.

Imagine my surprise when a call came in for my sister-in-law from the Department of Legal Offense! (Yes! That Department of Legal Offense!) The very nice Indian man leaving the message said his name was Sean Andrews and that he was calling regarding "enforcement action" that was about to be taken on my sister-in-law. He insisted she call him back or he would simply have her lawyer file the necessary paperwork, as it could otherwise result in a "legal mess" with them. Boy, am I glad he called and provided all of that information! I'll be calling my sister-in-law right away to let her know she needs to rectify this issue!

Cow worshipper calling to solicit information for identity theft. This is a phish scam. do not respond unless you want your credit ruined or your bank account drained.....

this number called me about a loan upto 10k, i said could i get their name and corporate address to verify that they are a legit company. the man said did i want the money or their information. I said well I want to research your company, he then told me give him my information or [***] OFF.

Keep getting crap calls for "David" and they are going to serve papers at my home etc.  Never had anyone named David on my phone or at home.

I asked them to stop calling me and I told him I was going to sue the company.

Definitely both a scam and a spoofed number. I tried calling it and the # is not in service... So, it's faked, and clearly this caller is in need of reporting, blocking, and prosecuting for fraud. That is, if it were possible to find them. :-(

Do NOT call them back. All that does is confirm the number works and then they have your name to perpetuate future scams!

Called without identifying himself or his company asking for a shipping employee.
This employee doesn't have an extension, and has recently been the subject of SEVERAL scam calls. When I asked the caller what the nature of this call was, he said "it's personal"

I reminded him that if t was a personal call, it needed to be handled on her personal cell phone, this is a place of business.

Blocked this number about 6 months ago, but they keep calling. Scam involving $25,000 business loan.

I know for a fact that the IRS will notify you by letter should you owe them any money, and they will ALWAYS notify by mail; never by phone. This is just some SCAM being passed off by some SCUM in hopes to make a quick buck off of the unsuspecting public.

I received a call yesterday at 4:30, telling me to call another number that I was being sued by the IRS, I needed to call immediately to get my case file, I don't think the IRS sues folks, they generally just mail you a notice and give you the opportunity to either pay in full or make payments, or  garnishee your wages, I hate that these kind of people breath the same air as me, they scam lots of unsuspecting, hard working people cause they are to lazy to work a real job!!!
