Company continues to call. I have setup a fax machine to address them and others. Hopefully they will eventually recognize it as a fax machine and stop calling.

We need better laws to address these companies. We all are being continually harassed by them. The phone companies should have some responsibility for enabling them and doing nothing about the use of their system to continue this harassment.

Business licenses should be revoked (owners not allowed to obtain another license for a minimum of 15 years), jail time (no probation) for the companies owners of companies that use this practice and assets take to be divided by the recipients of these calls.

I would have paid to see the look on the scammer's face when she got blasted with your whistle.  Great idea!

Calls me at least 8-10 times per week about a credit card I don't have. Tried calling back. Says my phone is off hook.

Recorded voice saying this would be my last opportunity. Pressed 1 to speak to Rep so I could tell them not to call again. Recording said I was caller 19 waiting to speak to a Rep. Click!

Calls several times a day. Robo call. Goes straight to the answering machine which tells them that all calls are screened, etc. Dumb s**ts won't give up.

Do you think it makes a difference if we just turn off our answering machines when we're home so that the call just rings, unanswered.  We don't pick up because we can see by the caller i.d. that it's "consumer assistance" or some other stupid name.  Do you think they will eventually stop calling when there is never an answer or answering machine?  Or do you think there's just robots calling us and it doesn't matter if we use an answering machine or not?

Well, blocking works for a little while, then they call you back at a different phone number.  I called back, got a recording to press 1 to be added to the do not call list.  I was reluctant and hung up.  Called back, pressed 1 after the prompt, and was pleasantly surprised that it actually worked after their 48 business hours processing time.

I get call from this number everyday.  They leave a message I can lower my interest rate.  This is your last call about this offer. Today, I picked up, waited for an operator, she said how may I help you.  I told her your company calls me everyday and says its the last call. I am no the do not call registry already.  Please don't call me again.  I got no response, she just hung up on me.

Interest rate reduction pukes.  Blocked forever.

I used to get calls from these people on my landline from so many different numbers I couldn't keep up with them. The last straw? They somehow called in on my phone number! That's right... my caller ID said I was calling myself, and it was these same scammers. Went to Amazon and ordered a Call Blocker box. Best thing I ever did. Will hold up to 1200 numbers. I still get calls periodically, but I block them immediately. They are relentless, however. They come up with new numbers all the time. Not sure why they're so fond of me. I have tried telling them to take me off their list... they hang up on me. I have pushed that stupid button to automatically take me off their list... it doesn't work. I've tried calling my state's Attorney General... does no good. Phone company is useless. I haven't changed my number because it's a home-based business number and on all our business cards and correspondence, but that is looking like a better option all the time. There's a special place in hell for these types of scammers...

"Second and final notice to lower credit card bills."  Except they call CONSTANTLY. They constantly spoof their number too.  Today, the caller ID says "Alpine, CA".

Yelling at these scumbags will not make them stop.  Might I suggest speaking VERY softly.  If you have to, act like you have a medical problem so they have to turn up the volume on their end. Once you are sure they have done this and have the phone tight to their ear, blow a police whistle into your mouthpiece, or a canned air horn.  Just think of the look on the lawbreaker's face!

Okay we're done with these guys.  They have been asked politely to stop calling and remove my number.  After calling three times today they are gone, blocked.

Unsolicited call with an urgent message  about my credit card account - except I don't have one...

Updating only because I have received six calls from this # on my cell phone. This time the app hiccuped and I heard part of the message before the 'dump the call app' kicked in. Something about this is an urgent call about my credit card. Still not interested....

Another call, another block, idiots have no idea they reach a blocked line since they are using robocalls and recorded messages. Filing yet another complaint. Been a quiet couple of days, then two calls from two different idiots in 30 minutes.

I get calls every day from this damn robo-call number. It says I can push a number to make the calls stop, which I've pushed - to no avail. If I don't pick up, a robot message is left.

How can I file a complaint against these people?
