could be "Carmen from Card Holder Services." again ; related to 786-247-3444

OK, phone companies here is an idea for you: give us a system to forward these calls to our congressmen/women and senators.  Then, just maybe then, something will really get done about these nitwits calling and disturbing my naps!! Thanks! (I know nothing will get done; I'm just venting.)

Add this number to the list - 415-610-7830.  They called me this morning from this number - same people - then tried a different number - the 619-324-4656 this afternoon.  Wish these slimeballs could be dealt with and done away with by the gov't, but they can't keep up with them.  Thank God for call blocking!

I have alos signed up for the DNC & got a call from 619.324.4656 also, definately a scam, our organizations should be doing more to protect the consumers!

We should pay only half of our phone bills, since we can't answer our phones anymore.

They called today, caller ID said peoples assist.  I pick up and hang up at the same time, never talk to any of those vermin.  If they can put a man on the moon, why don't they stop these calls.  Nothing is more annoying than having your day constantly interrupted by filthy scum criminals

Since the ROBOCALL from CARMEN is still continuing ....   I contacted the FBI.
I think that there are a bunch of CREEPS behind CARMEN.  And these CREEPS are targeting SENIORS.  And are also  checking to SEE if they are HOME ALONE.   I hope a MOVIE comes out soon that targets these CREEPS.

And I bet that there would be REWARD MONEY for anyone who can figure out how to HACK the CARMEN ROBO CALLERS !!!   AS ARNIE would say: "I'll be back !!! !"

Can you prove that?  Because I would guess they will just switch to new spoofed numbers.  Pressing 1 just lets them know they can get you to respond, and that they robodialed a live number.

Today this number called our land line - as others have noted, the caller ID was PEOPLES ASSISTA.   I didn't answer and the call went to our answering machine.  No message was left & I blocked the caller.

Putting a man on the moon had to do with the atomic arms race, national security and Kennedy...  profit, power and politics.  But stopping robocall scammers is not a priority for politicians who have other people to answer phones for them, when there is no profit in helping us.  Let's just hope there are white-hat hackers out there who, one of these days, decide to make crushing these twerps a hobby...  it shouldn't take much effort to outwit the scammers, for someone skilled in such things.  The government's main preoccupation is self-perpetuation and taking care of their own families and cronies, you should know that by now.  Read "This Town" by Liebowitz.  Unless you are rich, powerful or famous, govt won't respond.  And the govt hires mediocre IT employees because they pay peanuts.  Better to just check caller ID, listen to your call screening feature (you usually hear them hang up with your outgoing message playing), and don't engage them or ask them to stop.  You are dealing with low-grade predators, and you should not engage them any more than you would open your door to a burglar or rapist who comes knocking.  Both dangerous, both want to harm you, neither has ethics.  You don't need to be polite or talk to them, they are both outside the veil of human decency, so do not engage them at all, even though blowing a whistle or using vulgarities may be momentarily satisfying.  Sigh...  what a world we have turned into...

This number called me at 3:13 this afternoon.  I did not answer and no voice mail was left on my machine.  My caller ID read V08261713260018 as the name of the caller.  This has to be a scammer or telemarketer.

The FBI will tell you to call the FTC or your AG's office, hun.  It's not their job.  If you think they are planning a home invasion, which I doubt...  Csll your local police and ask for a house watch, but you will still need to be responsible for your own safety, so if you still do not know how to be safe at home in America, ask them.   Keep doors locked, don't give personal information online or by phone, don't answer scam numbers.  And by the way....   Just how is a Hollywood movie going to help anyone in real life?  Get your head straight.  CSI:Cyber isn't gonna help you in real life, it's a fictional story with a happy ending every week, catharsis.
