Received a phoney call asking for "Grandma" and stated it was a grand-daughter calling - NOT

Get multiple call throughout the month from this bogus phone number -- Just scamming calls.

This is a scammer or telemarketer.  Let it go to voice mail -- no message left

They are calling me everyday on my office phone. When I pick up, no one is on the other side. A few seconds latter, a recording starts. Do not pickup call from this number!

Why are people so civil when they get a call from this number? Get really nasty with them. It puts a little fun into answering the phone.

didn't leave message - but from the long list of complaints about this number I'm sure it wasn't for anything good...

They called to talk about my windows computer issue. I laughed 'cause I knew this was a scam... he laughed the same way I did and hung up.
If they were calling from IL then I have a bridge to sell

I have received calls from the 630-318-4762 on every phone the family have home number as well on cellulars and this abuse continuous every day for more than a week with no idea how to stop it.

A recording or someone who sounded like a recording saying if I ignore I would be charged with a federal offense then gave me another number where the guy said he was from the IRS and I owed 500$ or be charged. And that I needed to get an attorney. Then he yelled at me for not being able to understand him. When I called the original number back it said this number had not been assigned. In the moment I was very worried!

The phone companies can stop this but wont..they make too much money from the scammers..we need to write our legislators..change the rules

Just received a call from this number and the young foreign man claimed he was from Microsoft and was calling to let me know of a virus that had downloaded from a website to my computer.  Had my phone number but the wrong name.  VERY persistent.  I just hung up on him and moved the number to my "SCAM" contact.

I like to mess with salespeople' minds.  I tell them, my number is a high security number and I need to know, from where they got my phone number!!   That usually scares the stuffin's out of them.  They hang up and I suspect, put me on their industry 'do not call' list.   LOL

Not if you have a call blocker.

Have gotten this call twice in the past couple of days. I'm told that my computer has a serious virus that has downloaded to my computer. He speaks in very broken English and is quite persistent. I let him know I was googling him as we spoke and that I know this is a scam. The guy would not let it go! I informed him to not call me again.

keep getting phone calls from random numbers including this one

just got this call, said out of area, no message left

answered phone - silence - after some time they disconnected - called back - operator said "this is not assigned yet"

Interesting;  invalid number being spoofed by multiple scammers!  In my case, it was Cardmember Services...
