How do u know?

Because a real debt collector would obey the law and MAIL proof of the debt. A real debt collector knows a phone call is not a legitimate method of debt validation. Nor is a fax, text, or email.

Why am I receiving calls from this number that I do not recognie?

The only people who can garnish your wages is the federal goverment. If they don't fall I se the TPP branches they can not.

They have called four times. I have no debt!

Received several calls from this number with no voicemail left (1x per day, all hours between 8a-5p).  I finally called back when I had a chance to talk.  They verified that they had the wrong number for someone who shared my name.  They claimed to be from "Client Services Inc.", which is BBB accredited at A+ rating, verified through BBB.org.  The representative did not give the debt collector speech prior to talking to me so I am not positive they were attempting to collect a debt, but they do have an "Accounts Receivable Management" arm of their firm.  The representative stated that he was removing my phone number from the database.

These people who will not give me any information, keep calling my cell phone 3-5 times a day.  I don't know who they are and I am an Elderly widower and am afraid they are running a scam... Can anyone help me?

I have them blocked. They always leave about a minute long voicemail and in the voicemail all you hear is people typing. They don't say anything.

This number calls my cell phone daily. Sometimes twice.  I have the number blocked and have never picked it up, but they still don't quit.  They're blocked, so it's no trouble for me; I don't even hear a ring, just a note on my phone that it was blocked.  Recommend you do the same.

calls from a firm called Client services this time 636-947-2321 on my cell phone. They also called thru Level 3 exchange in Ventura County area code 805 prefix 394 and last 4 digits 4877, 4896, 4822,4818, 4862,4851, 4256.
I purchased brand new phone from Tracfone and new phone number 2 months ago. I already spoke to Client Services in the Ventura number shown above and they said they would remove my cell phone number and it stopped for a few days and now started right up again recently - one call a day. As one who pays his bills; I have had a flood of calls from Client Services, Student loans, et all. This crap started one day after getting new cell phone and new number! I am filing complaints with BBB, Do not call and police! I have had it with this out of control VOIP phone crap that the user has no recoarse to all this lawless chaos so demonstrative of the last 8 years of the Federal government. The old channel switched systems enforced who did what and always traceable. No valid billable number - call blocked. Today user needs big computer effort to block incoming calls! Any nut can call from anywhere to pester one, cid useless as nut can load any crap in there and fake any number! User/homeowner recoarse - zero, none, zip!

They call multiple times a day & leave no message. I called back to see who it is that keep calling me & they wouldn't tell me they just repeated over and over for me to give my name.

Same here,  they are blocked.  My phone sees it as a scam or fraud, marks it in red. They call like 4 times a day.  No voicemail, so yeah well.
