Phone rang, answered the phone, no one there, their line hung up.  First time I get this call, hope it doesn't occur again as per other peoples experiences.  Call came from 641-715-3900.

I have gotten numerous calls for the past few months from "card services" claiming "your account is in good standing but we can help you lower your interest rate" this only comes on my machine, if I answer the phone there is no response. This happens at all hours of the day and evening and on Sunday's and holidays as well. The latest number I googled and that led me to this site. Call came from 641-715-3900

Got a call and nobody answered. I've been having calls like this for a couple of months now, wonderful with a young baby at home. I feel lucky when they're during the day. The phone number it's coming from keeps changing, but it's always then same kind of calls.

Call received today at around 6:30 pm. I suspect not the first time. I never answer the phone unless I recognize the telephone number. I still find interrupting what I am doing to scan the screen on my telephone an irritating waste of time.

I know that ISP's put pressure on each other to weed out spammers. I can't see why telephone companies shouldn't be compelled to do the same thing. Starting with the idiots that use this service.

According to this blogger (http://www.icwt.us/index.php/2007/12/01/priva ... -dec-31st-2007/) the phone number is connected with a free voice mail provider SimpleVoiceBox (http://www.simplevoicebox.com/services.asp), although I've seen no sign of that phone number mentioned on their site.

It would seem from this that the callers are numerous, with different ID codes but the same source phone number. Still irritatingly disruptive to receive these 'empty' calls. Is there a free service to block phone numbers? Bell wants too much and I'm not interested in paying even more.

Same as a lot of others - I have picked up to silence, there is often a 'silent' message left.  A company somehow checking to see if a number is valid perhaps?
